He personally made sure the job was done right by replacing all six plugs with the proper OEM-spec NGK Laser Iridium parts and replacing the upper intake manifold gasket at zero additional cost. I really respect a business that responds fast, takes accountability, and stands behind their work. They turned the whole experience around, and I will definitely be using their services again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Original** Disappointed with part quality and lack of transparency I brought my vehicle in for a spark plug replacement and paid $526, trusting the shop to use proper OEM-spec parts. Over $400 of that bill was labor due to the work required for this engine. My car originally came with NGK Laser Iridium plugs, which are rated for 100,000 miles. It wasn't until doing research afterward that I discovered the shop replaced them with NGK Iridium IX plugs—which NGK rates for only 40,000 to 50,000 miles. When labor makes up the vast majority of a repair bill, downgrading to plugs with half the original lifespan means having to pay that heavy labor fee twice as often. A $20 difference in parts cost at the time of service would have kept the proper 100k-mile longevity. I trusted this shop to look out for my vehicle's long-term interest rather than downgrading my factory specs. If you bring your car here, double-check the exact part numbers on your estimate before approving the work.
