Meridian Community College, founded in 1937, serves around 3,000 students each year in east Mississippi. MCC offers a University Transfer program, more than 40 Career and Technical Education programs, nursing and health sciences, adult education, and workforce training. Students can complete the first two years toward a bachelor's degree, earn an associate degree or certificate, or build job-ready skills to enter or advance in the workforce. The College is accredited by SACSCOC and is home to the Phil Hardin Foundation Honors College. The commuter campus sits on 72 acres just off Highway 19 North in Meridian.
