  I am honestly shocked by all the 5 star reviews. #1. They did not properly disclose enrollment requirements during enrollment and then gave me not even a day's notice for finding other childcare after my child had already been attending. #2. I didn't receive the information on how to gain entry into the school until after asking several times after my child was already attending. #3. I asked 1 simple request to the teachers to which they argued with me and then I had to go to management, then they argued with me, and then I had to reinstate their policy by which they were not following before it was followed. #4 The assistant director on more than one occasion almost made me late to work discussing a matter that was not pertinent to my child's care even after discussing that it could be talked about later. #5 Almost every day my child attended the teacher practically pulled them from me without even letting me say goodbye. Overall very unprofessional communication between all staff except for maybe a couple. My child is attending a different daycare now which has been amazing. They clearly stated their policies, works with me on requests and also provides live viewing which as expensive as Primrose is, does not.

  Our kids have been attending Primrose in Lees Summit for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff are all so kind and know our kids by name. We have found a wonderful community in the primrose teachers and families, and would recommend it to any parents considering daycare for their kids!

  After experiencing a couple of other daycares, our time at Primrose has truly exceeded our expectations. The biggest difference has been the incredible support and genuine care from the staff. Every teacher we’ve encountered is passionate, engaged, and truly invested in the children. Communication with parents is excellent. We always feel informed and know what’s happening throughout the day. The facility is also clean, well-maintained, and provides a welcoming environment for kids. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend Primrose to any family looking for a daycare that truly cares about their children.

  We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Primrose! From day one, the staff has made our family feel welcome and genuinely cared for. It’s clear that the teachers are passionate about what they do, and they create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where our child is excited to learn every day. The communication with parents is excellent, the facility is always clean and well-organized, and it’s obvious that the entire team goes above and beyond to help every child succeed. We’ve seen so much growth in our child’s confidence, social skills, and learning since starting here. Knowing our child is happy, safe, and loved while we’re at work gives us incredible peace of mind. We highly recommend Primrose to any family looking for a daycare and preschool that truly invests in its students and treats them like family. Thank you to everyone at Primrose for everything you do!

  We’ve been really happy with Primrose School. The staff is consistently friendly, kind, and present, which has made a big difference for our family. In our experience, that consistency comes from strong leadership and management in the front office. It feels intentional and well-run. Communication has been another standout. Updates are meaningful, timely, and reliable. When something happens, whether our kids bump heads or one of us is under the weather, the team is quick to reach out and stay connected. That responsiveness gives us real peace of mind. We also appreciate the location. Being close to our neighborhood in the Longview community makes drop-off and pick-up much easier. If we had one suggestion, it would be more flexibility around payment. Right now the only option is weekly payments pulled from a checking account. Offering additional scheduling options or payment methods would make things even better for families. Overall, we’re glad our kids are here and would recommend Primrose to other parents looking for a caring, well-managed school.
