MCC-BLUE RIVER, named because it's in the heart of "Blue River country," includes the Public Safety Institute (police and fire academies), Blue River East ( utility lineman, CDL and warehousing programs, as well as the Great Plains OSHA Education Center). The nearby Precision Driving Center is a 54-acre complex houses an urban driving course and skid pad that trains public safety and transportation professionals and student drivers. Cybersecurity is a nationally recognized Blue River degree program. Each spring, the campus holds All for the Children, a healthy families resource fair, including an Easter egg hunt. MCC-Blue River is also home to the Metropolitan Chorale of KC. MCC Wolves sports include men's and women's soccer.
