  Today was my nephew’s first day at this childcare center. He was dropped off without any injuries and was picked up with a noticeable black eye. When our family asked what happened, no one could provide an explanation. She was also told that “kids fight,” also said that they hadn’t notice the bruise, but there was still no clear account of how my nephew sustained a facial injury while under supervision! It’s supposed to be a trusted facility What concerns me most is not only the injury itself, but the lack of awareness regarding when or how it occurred. A child should not leave a childcare facility with a bruise on their face and no documented explanation for the family. My nephew is autistic and he communicates well. I attempted to follow up further but the center was already closed, My sister was to shaking up to do so. We want answers and hope the center takes this matter seriously. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this facility.

  I have so much love and gratitude for West St. Paul KinderCare. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth, the professionalism, and the genuine care that goes into every detail. This is not just a daycare—it’s a community where children, families, and even employees are valued and supported. There’s always a smile on a teachers face, and you always feel welcome. One of the things that makes this place so special for me is that I actually went here as a child. Some of my happiest early memories were made here. Laughing with friends, learning new things, and feeling safe and cared for by teachers who truly loved what they did. Coming back now, and seeing the same spirit, dedication, and joy in every classroom is so meaningful. It feels like everything has come full circle, and I am so thankful that kids get to grow up in the same nurturing environment that shaped me. The staff go above and beyond every single day. You can see how much they care about each child as an individual, creating a space where kids feel safe to learn, play, and be themselves. They also care deeply about families, keeping us connected and reassured with open communication and genuine partnership. It’s clear that the well being of both children and employees is a top priority, which makes such a difference in the quality of care. Most importantly, this is a place where you know your child is safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. As a sister, peace of mind is priceless. I always leave with a full heart knowing my sibling is surrounded by people who see them, value them, and truly care for them. This daycare is more than just a childcare center—it’s a home away from home, a place filled with compassion, learning, and love. I couldn’t imagine a better place for children and families, and I feel so lucky to be part of it both as a former student and now as someone who’s family attends this location. ❤️

  I really agonized over choosing a daycare center and relied heavily on internet reviews so wanted to pay that forward by sharing our experience. Our son has been in the infant room at West St. Paul KinderCare for about 4 months now and things are going really well. The main infant teachers have been at the center a long time and obviously really know and enjoy babies. The Director & Assistant Director are lovely, available, and responsive. All the teachers in all the rooms know my son's name and greet us when we arrive and leave- a small thing but really very comforting to see that extra effort!
