Currently attending this school, and I’ve had a really good experience so far. The nursing program is challenging, but I’ve learned and grown so much throughout my time here. I especially want to recognize Dean Erin for always being supportive, approachable, and truly caring about the students and their success. I also really appreciate instructors like Maria and Ashley, who put a lot of effort into teaching and supporting their students. Having instructors and leadership who genuinely want to see you succeed makes a huge difference. I’m grateful for my experience at Rasmussen St. Cloud and for everyone who has supported me throughout my nursing journey. Good luck to all current and future students—you got this!

First of all, let me say hands down this is the best nursing program I have attended! All of the negative reviews are in regard to previous staff that have worked there. Those instructors no longer work at St Cloud campus. They have done a complete turn around and hired a FANTASTIC dean for the nursing program there and all new instructors. The staff all want you to succeed, will meet with you after class if you have questions, and want to see you meet your goals. Like all nursing programs this one was just as brutal as all of the others. However, I felt prepared for NCLEX as I passed first time with 85 questions and was able to achieve my dream goal of working in a hospital as a Registered Nurse where I am learning so much! I drove from the cities to St Cloud to attend this campus. Our clinicals were all in hospitals and I have been able to have experiences that students in the twin cities' programs have not got to experience. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who is looking to feel supported when entering a nursing program.

They get 1 star for acting like they care about your situation. They don't handle things in a timely manner. They don't have people available to speak with, and when you email them it can take up to 3 days for a response. On 3/28/2025, I reached out to financial aid to see if I would have enough funding to retake my last class for graduation, and let them know that if not I would not need a schedule. I get two emails from Benjamin Lass persistent on confirming a class schedule because I didn't want to confirm a schedule before hearing back from financial aid. After his last email I just confirm it, following up on my request to withdraw days after classes now have started, Benjamin Lass sends me emails about attendance. I then send another email but attached the registrar, financial aid, advisor, I even message the instructor to inform them that I am trying to withdraw before being charged for a course fees, and I needed the funding sent back to the servicer for the grant. I talked to Michael, Benjamin Lass supervisor, he says he is going to see if there is anything they could do to help me be able to take the class. I stress to him that I shouldn't be getting charged for a course, if I made it clear with multiple departments that I wish to withdraw before classes started, days after classes started, and 8 days after classes started. They have me still enrolled in a class that I am not participating in, but could be harmful to me. On 4/19/2025, I just received a book order confirmation from them, like stop charging me, I should have a zero balance, charges need to be removed, and funding needs to be sent back. Classes started 4/7/2025, I emailed financial aid, made it clear that if I didn't have enough funding, to not schedule me so I wouldn't get charged because I couldn't afford any out of pocket expense on 3/28/2025. Per financial aid's response, I reiterated that I need to be withdrawn to all departments on 4/15/2025. That's 6 business days after school started, as they count before any refunds or charges are posted. That's 8 days total after classes started to follow up on my wishes yet again to be withdrawn, this time attaching multiple departments. I should have a clean slate.

I have been a student at Rasmussen University since the Fall of 2021. This has been an awesome experience for me! I have had great instructors who really care about my education and success. I also am a Student Ambassador at the St. Cloud campus. This campus has wonderful administration, and I have become friends with the nursing students at our campus. I would recommend Rasmussen University to anyone who is new to college or are looking to advance in a career!
