- LGLisa GandySep 1, 20263.0In terms of OT and fine motor skills. my child made some nice gains here. In terms of speech I wasn’t impressed as my child is autistic and autistic children tend to learn using gestalt language processing. At the time we went there Ms Glenda did not know what gestalt language processing was I don’t know if that has changed. In terms of professional behavior I wasn’t impressed. To be fair I was commuting for work at the time and we were late for appointments at times and a little chaotic so I’m sure we could he annoying. On the other hand I caught one of the OT workers making faces behind my back and Ms Glenda would kind of keep bringing up questions about our religion (were not Christian) so that was unsettling. In short we had a mixed experience.

Due to his Autism, his speech was way behind his peers. They worked with him not only on his speech but also were amazing with some of his behavior issues. They had such patience with him. I am forever grateful.
