- TWT WalkerMay 11, 20265.0My grandson was struggling with reading, so the after-school program assessed his reading and math levels to better support his learning needs. Every week, Carter looked forward to attending tutoring, where he made new friends, participated in yoga, and received help improving his reading skills. The staff is incredibly engaging and caring with the students. They understand that the children have already had a long day at school, so they provide a meal before tutoring and follow it with yoga to help the kids relax and relieve stress. They also celebrate each child’s birthday, recognize upcoming holidays, and create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. I never had to worry about my grandson’s safety while he was there. The doors were always locked, and the security gate and guard provided an added level of protection for both the staff and children. I would highly recommend that every parent visit St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center to see all the wonderful programs and activities they offer. Five stars!
