EMT Boot Camp

EMT Training

Our fast paced Emergency Medical Technician Training Boot Camp Program will prepare you to provide emergency medical care to victims of accidents and sudden illness. You will develop skills in symptom recognition, emergency care procedures and techniques considered to be within the responsibilities of an EMT. Emergency Medical Technicians provide routine and emergency medical care with an ambulance service, as well as in hospitals and clinics. Becoming an EMT is the first step towards becoming a paramedic. The boot camp is an extremely fast-paced program that covers the entire EMT curriculum in 18 days. The smaller class size allows you maximum practice time with our experienced instructors. Our program consists of 140 hours of classroom and skill training, and the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational opportunities. This program exceeds the US DOT/DPH/OEMS guidelines. The instructional staff consists of experienced EMT’s with years of experience as EMS educators.

This course for healthcare professionals teaches you to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

This medical device is used to determine the approximate concentration of glucose in the blood. EMT’s will use this information to draw a small drop of blood, obtained by pricking the skin with a lancet, then placed on a disposable test strip that the meter reads and uses to calculate the blood glucose level.

Bloodborne Pathogen training addresses the federal OSHA “Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens” standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) which prescribes safeguards to protect workers against the health hazards from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials and to reduce their risk from this exposure.

Occasionally patients will need to be transferred with an I.V. already established. This certification enables EMT-Basics to learn and understand I.V. basics. This certification doesn’t train you to install I.Vs, but to properly maintain and care for a patient who already has one.

This school is amazing! I took the fast track hybrid class in Beverly. My instructor John, was the best. He taught everything that we needed to know for the practical, with plenty of time for hands on practicing. He also is very knowledgeable for any questions students have as he has a lot of real world experience. He was kind enough to come in early to help students practice one on one, just really wants to see you succeed. For the people who are interested in doing this program, you should know it’s not going to be easy. You have to stay on top of your online work, which will be a lot of work because this is a 6 week class. If you struggle with independent learning, I recommend you take a longer course.

I never bash businesses especially on these platforms, but I just wanted to make others aware before taking this course my experience. This is based on the hybrid The good: 6 week class only 1 week in person so it’s good if you’re in a hurry. Instructors were knowledgeable. The bad: one instructor instead of being a leader just antagonized a student the whole class and was upset when he spoke out. The way the practical portion was run was the worst organization and worst run program I’ve ever in my life been a part of. There were 23 students with at most 3 instructors present for some of the day. Most of the day it was just 2 instructors. We hardly had any hands on experience before testing which is wrong. For trauma I ran through it 1 time!!! Before testing out. I passed but that’s besides the point. One day I was there 4 hours and got through 1 station. Keep in mind we only have a week. Still bad: The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and out of paper towels for 2 days. Which for making 70000 dollars in one week off of this class is unacceptable. I also would like to say I passed the course and the state exam so I’m not a disgruntled student who flunked out. I would never recommend this institution to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and find a different institution that’s not out for a money grab.

Great place. The instructors are awesome. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. I did the hybrid online EMT-B program and was very impressed with how easy the process was. The online platform is well designed and easy to use. The in class part was great, with helpful instructors who have extensive real-world experience that really prepare you both for the exam and for your experience in the field. It's not for everyone though, you must be disciplined enough to do the course work on your own and meet deadlines. It's no different than any other online class I've ever taken. Nobody in my class had anything negative to say about the process, most of us were FF's. Take the course seriously and make sure you read everything they send you. Just don't expect to lazily breeze through weeks of class and get your EMT. There's a lot of material to learn and the pace is grueling but worth it in my opinion. No more 8 month long classes to take. I was never told $250 was anything other than the deposit so I'm not sure the confusion in some other reviews. I'd never expect an EMT class to cost $250, but I've also been in the industry for 20 years. Bottom line: I highly recommend going here for your EMT course
