My children -- toddler joined when she was 5.5mo and pre-k'er joined when he was 3.5yo -- are noticeably developing well, learning, and enjoying their time at school. They are encouraged to be themselves while teachers have partnered well with us parents in teaching social and emotional intelligence skills. Overall: - PSOB has kind, patient, attentive, and loving staff and teachers. - Chef is wonderful and serves healthy & tasteful food. - Transparency via frequent communications of what's happening/coming up, illness, other key events, etc. has been amazing, especially as we prepare our oldest for Kindergarten at our local public school.

My son has been at the Primrose School of Burlington since he was 3 months old. He just turned 6 and is now just a few months away from graduating Kindergarten. The past 6 years at PSOB have been something we would never change. He has grown into such a smart, brave and kind human because of the teachers and friends he has had along the way. His final year in Kindergarten has been absolutely wonderful. Ms. Carter has not only thoroughly prepared him for 1st grade (he is reading, writing on his own, and this weekend doing basic multiplication?!), but also truly found a permanent spot in all of our hearts. We are all going to be devastated when it is time for him to leave Primrose and the team there.

Our grandson has been at Primrose since being an infant and will be graduating from their Kindergarten class this year! It has been an incredibly nurturing place for him! Academically they have both met him where his strengths were and challenged him to explore skills he needed to develop more fully intellectually ! We are most impressed by his curiosity and willingness to discover his own answers. Also the Primrose attention to his emotional and social development has given him the tools he needs to move forward to meet new challenges and social situations . The strong sense of community that Primrose has fostered among students, teachers and parents has inspired its students to also consider their role in the greater community and how they fit in. - Linda& James Leis

I have been a parent of a child here since she was about 1 year old (she is almost 4). This school has exceeded my expectations in every measurable/quantifiable way ... as well as some intangibles... Let me explain. First, throughout the pandemic, they took on every precaution imaginable. I always felt heard when there was a concern. Anytime there was a child with symptoms or they needed to report a positive, they did so quickly which allowed us to make the best decision for our family. Their communication is unmatched. We receive personalized photos and updates everyday (we get the classroom ones as well but our teachers always make a point to write something about our daughter everyday). This school has given us a community. We moved to the Boston area with no family around and 2 children...during the pandemic. It was really easy to feel isolated. Primrose made us feel like a part of a community. They always have fun activities to do on site - in addition to this, we are always getting updates surrounding our daughters education. I can say, when I drop my daughter off, I don't even think twice about her being there. I know if she bumps her head or if she accomplishes something she has been working really hard on (like when she spelled her name for the first time by herself....), we will get a note or a call. Finally, we have an older daughter who is at a different school (ABA). I can not express how much Primrose treats our other daughter like part of the family. They all know about "sissy" and include her in any of the kid activities (where it makes sense). They welcome her into the classroom for drop off and pick up. They kept a spot for her in their Kindergarten room (before we decided to do public school) until we had completely figured out our path for her. They celebrate adversity, They celebrate all sorts of holidays (I grew up just outside of NYC so I was always exposed to different cultures - 20 miles outside of Boston, I am sure it would be really easy to celebrate the "usual" holidays- they go out of their way to educate the kids on different beliefs, holidays, ideas...etc). The staff is easily the best part of this school. They really go above and beyond to accommodate any and all needs. I will be sad when our daughter graduates because I won't be able to see this family who has taken us in. A special shout out to Kate L, Lori, Peaches, Alicia, Taylor...and ALL of our teachers... Thank you all for accepting our family into yours. You will never know what it meant the day we got the call that a spot had opened up.
