My two children attended this daycare for about five months, two days per week. During that time, they were constantly sick with rhinovirus. The facility often appeared dirty and not as well maintained as I expected for a place caring for young children. I initially chose this daycare because it was conveniently located near my home and workplace. During our first tour, I saw a child outside eating wood chips. I had to bring it to the director’s attention, otherwise the child could have choked. That should have been my first red flag. At first, Ms. Bailey seemed very kind, but over time I felt that her interactions lacked genuine care and concern. My two-year-old daughter had three incident reports while attending. In one incident, she fell while climbing on a bike meant for older children. In another, she tripped while running and scratched her face. In the third, another child bit her on the wrist. Each time, I was told “I’m sorry about that” but the responses felt routine and lacked real empathy. My children cried almost every time I dropped them off and clearly did not want to attend. The daycare also appeared to be frequently short-staffed, resulting in children of different age groups being combined together. The final straw came when I overheard Bailey yelling at my child during pickup. I do not believe she realized I was there. Her tone was rude and inappropriate. There is a respectful way to speak to other peoples children, and this was not it. I did like my eldest daughter’s teacher and the an older lady but she was there only sometimes. I am so thankful that I found a much much MUCH better daycare. My children now love going, and the difference is truly night and day. I only wish I had made the switch sooner. I don’t recommend anyone bringing their children here.

I want to share my experience because I feel it’s important for other parents to be very careful when choosing a daycare. I went for a surprise visit. I wasn’t completely convinced, but I still went because I was told to come between 12pm and 3pm, when the children are usually resting. When I arrived, I saw some children sleeping with their shoes still on. In the baby area, there was a baby crying and I didn’t see anyone go to comfort them at any point. The baby cried for quite a long time, and honestly, that broke my heart. I also saw a teacher trying to get a little girl to sleep by gently tapping her diaper area, and that made me feel uncomfortable. In another classroom, I saw a teacher speaking very harshly to a child who was just playing. The tone didn’t feel appropriate for children. The place also felt a bit disorganized in some areas, and it gave me the impression that there might be a shortage of staff at certain times. I don’t know exactly what is going on, but as a mom I simply didn’t feel at peace. I decided not to enroll my baby. My instincts won. And I want to say something important: our children are the most precious thing we have. Please don’t choose a daycare based on just one visit or one opinion. Read reviews, do surprise visits, ask questions, and trust your intuition. I felt like I needed to share this. Please do your own research and make the best decision for your children.🙏🏻

I toured this facility a couple weeks ago, as I was there the toddlers on the 1.5-2 side were visibly upset, the room was an absolute mess, and the teacher was pretty much just ignoring them. I understand that everybody has bad days, but the fact that she was doing this with a parent touring present to me just shows that it is potentially a lot worse without anyone present. It was very disheartening to the point that multiple of the toddlers came to me looking for comfort (Someone they’ve never met mind you). As a parent, I just can’t imagine leaving a baby to cry for long periods of time without any comfort or trying to provide any support. With that being said, the program Director Bailey; As well as the other teachers seemed very nice and attentive and all the other kids seemed happy except for that specific class. I just couldn’t imagine having my daughter there. I really hope that this is addressed, And if you’re considering sending your child Who is of that age, I would possibly reconsider.

I love this preschool. Bailey is so awesome and is so open and receptive to feedback and I can see she genuinely cares about their quality. My son is in the toddler class and I'm not sure what his teachers name is but she is awesome too, every time I go to pick him up or drop him off she tells me what they will be doing that day and why. I love seeing pictures and videos in the app of my son playing having fun, drawing, painting and learning. I'm really loving the learning he is doing and I can see the benefits from them. He is talking more and doing a lot of storytelling. My wife and I went through several daycares and we have happily settled here. I hope the people who reads this review decides to give this wonderful preschool a chance. P.S. for any parents wondering, they are mindful and accommodating of allergies here 😁

My son has been enrolled at KinderCare for well over a year and we have had nothing but great experiences! The staff are wonderful, caring, and always willing to help. My son has learned so much and is excited to go to school everyday. I would absolutely recommend them to any parent searching for safe and reliable daycare/preschool. I never have to worry about him throughout the day because I know he is very well taken care of and having fun. My son will be heading to kindergarten this year and we are genuinely sad to be leaving. Overall, KinderCare OP is a wonderful childcare facility with wonderful staff!
