Everyone there was super nice and friendly. They have helped me with multiple issues and were super forgiving! They did give me an invalid citation one time but they fixed it for me.

Several years ago I got a parking ticket for having an expired permit. I was working, and attending BYUI at the time; both locations required me to have parking permits. One day, on my way to school, from work, I reached into the center console of my car and grabbed a Byui parking permit from the previous semester. I had a current permit, but I hadn’t disposed of the expired permit, and grabbed the wrong one by mistake. I got a $5 ticket for this. When I went in to pay my fees, the parking services clerk recommended I submit a dispute online to have it removed. He told me that BYUI allowed 3 tickets per year to be removed, and if I submitted my application online, it would be cleared and I wouldn’t have to pay $5 for the infraction. Several days later, I got a notification that my request had been denied, so I went to ask parking services about it. Zac Bricks was the attendant, and very unprofessional. At one point, he stood up from his desk and became confrontational with me. When asked to see his manager, he refused, until another parking services attendant brought him to the front. Upon entering the room Thayne Odell immediately asked ‘What’s your problem?’ And after I gave a brief explanation, he asked ‘Why should I care?’ I asked to speak to his manager and was told to come back several hours later. When I did, Bill Plank, the department manager, who was very professional, offered to review the footage and call me back with his findings, after I filed a formal complaint. He called back several hours later and said that he reviewed the footage, and saw Zac become confrontational with me, but due to the lack of sound recordings, he couldn’t make any determinations and wouldn’t be pursuing the matter any farther.
