  Unfortunately, our experience with Challenger School was disappointing. We encountered several fees that were not clearly disclosed upfront, which made the enrollment process feel lacking in transparency. The overall atmosphere gave us a negative first impression, and we felt the academic environment relied too heavily on pressure and unrealistic performance expectations for young children rather than encouraging a positive love of learning.

  The owner is extremely unqualified. My daughter has behavioral issues and needs a behavioral specialist to attend daycare with her. The owner said she did not want to accommodate that and said the last day for all 3 of our chdren would be the end of July. Now my wife and I have to figure out how we are both going to be able to work. This place claims to be a Christian school, but refusing to accommodate a behavioral specialist and making difficult situations for families is proving otherwise. If your child has any struggles, do not the send them here.

  Choosing Challenger was the best decision we made for our kids. Academically, no one even comes close. From the interview process onward, it was clear that Challenger’s curriculum is truly incomparable to any other school in the Boise/Meridian area. Communication with parents is outstanding. On a day-to-day basis, if I need additional information or want to schedule a parent-teacher conference, I’m able to connect within 24 hours. Our kids take ownership of their academic goals and are equally motivated to challenge themselves creatively. They love friendly competitions like the annual Halloween Pumpkin Decorating and Cartoon contests, which make learning even more engaging. We also appreciate the thoughtful communication approach—my inbox isn’t flooded with unnecessary emails, and there are no constant fundraising calls or donation requests unrelated to my child’s classroom. No school is perfect, but three years later we remain genuinely impressed with Challenger and are so glad we made the move.

  Challenger School of Meridian continues to amaze us with its exceptional educational standards, especially in the kindergarten program. It's remarkable to see how much our son has learned in just half a year. The leap in his reading skills is particularly astounding – he is not only reading fluently but is now delving into chapter books with ease. His understanding of reading rules and his ability to apply them is a clear indicator of the high-quality teaching at Challenger School. The dedication and expertise of the teachers have fostered a deep love for reading and learning in him. We are incredibly impressed and grateful for the solid educational foundation our son is receiving here. The progress he's made is a true testament to the exceptional curriculum and the nurturing environment that Challenger School provides.

  We've recently toured this preschool and we were left with a great impression when it comes to the overall aspect of the school, the strong academic focus, the age appropriate classrooms and the teachers' desire for their children to excel. The one major turn-off however (hence the 4 out of 5 stars) was the front receptionist, Lori, who was unfriendly and unwelcoming, too busy to shuffle papers around than acknowledge us as we first walked in. As a private school with higher than average tuition, this is the face of the school and I feel it's not represented correctly. Amy on the other hand, whom we toured with, was more than helpful, nice and attentive. The rates are higher than all the other preschools around, but not so high that it would not be affordable for two incomes families. 2016-2017 Half-day Preschool rates: $227/mo 2D AM, $319/mo 3D AM, $301/mo 3D PM, $546/mo 5D AM Full-day Preschool rates: $376/mo 2D, $566/mo 3D, $942/mo FT *******This review is based on a tour of the facility and the realization that there aren't many reviews out there that pertain to tours, general first impression and pricing of the preschools in the area; therefore this review is subjective to this angle.
