  My husband and I enrolled our daughter at Barber Station Montessori Academy when she was just six weeks old. We were understandably nervous about starting daycare so early, but the Barber Station team quickly put our minds at ease. Her teachers, Lauren and Aspen, are incredible with the infants and provide such thoughtful, attentive care. The infant-to-teacher ratio is 1:4, which is even better than the Idaho state requirement of 1:6. Diapers are changed regularly every two hours, babies are fed on demand, and naps are based on each child’s needs—which has worked wonderfully for our daughter’s routine at home as well. We also love that the infants get plenty of outdoor time for fresh air and play. It truly feels like they care for our daughter the same way we would. Every time we pick her up, she’s happy and smiling, and at drop-off she gives excited wiggles when she sees Lauren and Aspen—she clearly adores them. The team is always responsive to any questions we have, and we appreciate the daily updates through Tadpoles, which keep us informed about everything from feedings to naps. We are so grateful for the high-quality care and genuine support we’ve found here. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such a nurturing and attentive environment.

  Our baby is in Ms Lauren & Ms Aspen’s class and we couldn’t be happier - he’s excited to see them every day. At this stage all I can ask is to have peace of mind that my child is in good hands and seeing how he reacts to his teachers is precious. He can’t say it yet but I am sure he would give 5 starts himself. We appreciate the staff’s flexibility with hours and help with all those life driven events they are so good at handling!

  We love Ms. Lauren and Aspen in Rm. 2! It's clear to see that these wonderful teachers truly care about and get to know each and every baby they care for as a unique, individual little person. The other teachers who come in to help (shout out Ms. Cambri) as well as the administrative staff are also lovely. We feel comfortable knowing that our son is in safe, caring hands and a calm, clean environment whenever we take him to Montessori Academy Barber Station.

  Montessori Barber Valley has been an excellent choice for our family and our daughter’s preschool journey. She’s been attending Montessori Academy since she was just 3 months old, transitioning from the infant room to the toddler room, and we’ve been consistently impressed. The staff are warm, supportive, and truly focused on each child’s growth and development. A special thank you to Ms. Cambri for creating such a welcoming and fun classroom environment!
