This school is just a straight up scam. Every single tool from a standard caliper to the actual planes in the hangar are outdated, broken, and just begging to be replaced. Every class consists of students just on their phones because all the professors do is read a powerpoint the entire class, yet the tuition for this school is 50k.
There is barely any hands on learning with the actual planes and most projects are just some packets that you spend hours looking for the answers in a manual that is included with the price of tuition, yet is free for the public online. Straight up lies told during orientation and just 1 month as a student you will realize you wasted your money.
Any 5 star reviews are just from the school itself, or students who are barely 1 week into the “program”. This is why the negative reviews have the most likes because they are coming from actual people who realized this scam and its not some employee staff member. One of my professors joked about this in class, which only cemented how much of a horrible school this is.
Do not attend this school for your money and time sake.
very dissatisfied with my experience so far. i am pretty far into my A&P journey so i can’t leave, but i would recommend going somewhere else! this school promised a lot of things beforehand (Ex: Told us we would get 2 airplanes per semester (working btw) and we have yet to get 2. we have only gotten one and i am in my 2nd/3rd semester. we have only touched the flight sim once. etc etc.. ) the curriculum is horrible, we get projects and we can barley do them due to the fact all the planes are stripped and gutted, i mean come on we have a learjet worth about a million and it just sits there collecting dust, no one ever works on it. and the manuals are 30-40 + years old. students don’t take this school serious because the projects and work are just so unserious/just sitting in class doing nothing. i am barley learning anything. the instructors are phenomenal HR ruins it. all of the money that AIM makes (1.4-1.8 million per month) but can’t even renovate the place (except paint the walls) the tools and equipment are all poor quality. why charge us for books when they are all free online? some new shirts for everyone would be nice as well. idk i am so conflicted with this school and it’s very tiring. this place should be running like an actual hangar, we need to be getting airplanes from smaller GA airports and returning them to service. an apprenticeship program would go well due to the fact AIM makes so much money, and a lot of students are struggling astronomically with finances. the apprenticeship program would be great to circulate revenue back to students. Why are we paying 3.3k per class for powerpoints and sitting there????? Everyone just leaves half of the time because it's just PowerPoints and sitting in class doing nothing, a whole lot of scrolling on phones. Not enough recourses for the projects so 85 percent of the time it’s just an entire class doing a task for 2-3 hours that should take 30 minutes max. the use of time is so poorly here it drives me insane. i seriously feel like im wasting so much potential. i dont feel like an “aircraft mechanic” at all.

We already made our payments. In April, $2,000 was taken, and in May, another $1,000 was taken. We were told payments were monthly, so we don’t understand why we’re being told we owe more in June. We have already paid a total of $3,000. Before sending past-due notices, please review our account records. This situation is very frustrating and needs to be clarified

There is a promise of greatness when you sign up for the school and the first few blocks are great. As soon as you get past the general blocks the instructors get lazy. There is very little hands on learning. The instructors just throw the information at you and expect you to teach yourself. The actual “teaching” is just instructors talking at you expecting you to take in the information. Paying as much as the school costs the instruction and lessons should be equivalent to the amount you are charged. I wouldn’t recommend signing up to go here unless you want to be extremely disappointed. They over promise, over charge and underdeliver. You can tell the instructors only come for a paycheck and some of them are very questionably qualified. Another issue, the tools and objects necessary to do projects are mostly ruined and broken but the school can pay to paint the walls. They bounce around the blocks and don’t keep the lessons consistent. New teachers are thrown into the classes without adequate preparation and training. Instructors can barely pass the finals we are given.
Sincerely, a current student

After a couple of months attending school here, I am now unenrolling as an AIM student. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not think any of the negative reviews are false, I had that exact same thought process but it turns out it was beyond true!!
For the price of tuition being 60K+, the materials and projects are a joke. Most of the time you are expected to complete any work on your own after looking up some info in the manual. The tools are outdated and broken, sometimes there is not even enough tools for the class to have and you will end up with 2 hours gone by with little to no progress on said project.
Also, you can get all of the textbooks and manuals they “sell as part of tuition” for free online, im not kidding.
There will be some professors who force you to stay all the way until 2 PM, there are other professors that will let you leave before lunch and it is very frustrating especially if you have plans outside of school. The school should have a set time for all students.
Many of the 4-5 star reviews I was reading are from people who have just begun their classes, or other students who realized too late that they overpaid for everything and just have to stick it out now. Please do not listen to the sales tactics anybody has to pull you into the school, my biggest mistake was not believing the negative reviews and now I wasted some time because of it. There are far better options out there.
