  I’ve had a great experience with Augusta Aviation and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for flight training. I completed my Private Pilot Certificate here, earned my tailwheel endorsement, and I’m currently working on my Instrument Rating. Chris Young has been my instructor throughout much of my training, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s knowledgeable, patient, professional, and does a great job of knowing when to let you work through something yourself and when to step in and teach. He takes the time to explain not just what to do, but why you’re doing it, which has made me a much better and more confident pilot. I’ve really enjoyed flying with him and would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a great instructor. Augusta Aviation has been a great place to learn and continue building my skills, and I plan to keep training here. The only thing I’d love to see added in the future is the opportunity to get a seaplane endorsement. That would be a really cool addition to an already great flight school. Great people, great instruction, and an all-around great aviation community. Highly recommend Augusta Aviation and Chris Young.

  Good luck getting any rating you try to get here finished, because it will never happen and you will just spend two years waiting for them actually help you while they give you a flight every month or two while telling you you’ll finish and take checkride soon.

  Recently checked out to rent the C172 from Augusta Aviation. This organization is world class, from Instruction/Check Out (Chris Smith was excellent) to quality of the aircraft to servicing/maintenance/scheduling. Everyone is a total professional. Chris Young and company should be your first choice in all things aviation. I have 47 years of flying, including military, commercial and was Chief IP at a 141 school.

  Augusta Aviation did a FANTASTIC job on recent golf outing. I fly with Augusta Aviation monthly & they are always on time. Aircraft are spotless & pilots are ready to "roll".

  Always phenomenal! FBO is top notch and George/Chris has always taken care of my maintenance needs, even on short notice. Highly recommend!
