  Hasan was a great pilot instructor and one of the best you can have ! I recommend you ask for him when doing these discovery flights because he goes above and beyond to make your experience worth it! 100% recommended

  This place is fantastic. The owner, Randall, is the nicest, most competent guy you have ever met. I am a long term high performance, complex, instrument private pilot and have connected with The Pilot Place since its beginnings. It has grown in scale, equipment, and staff at a steady pace. All that time it has maintained that personalized connection of its staff to clients because of the leadership you see consistently from Randall. Their most recent building and what it provides is magnificent. Planning rooms, training and instruction rooms, multiple simulators including a new full motion Redbird, and a great range of aircraft to pilots to start and progress through. I did my most recent BiAnnual Flight Review with their Assistant Chief and we went through a range of skills I hadn't properly exercised in years (not thrust upon me as a requirement, rather brought forward as remembering those joys of feeling the aircraft respond under your control). I recommend The Pilot Place without hesitation.

  I am currently going there for my PPL. I have a great instructor, Hasan, who is highly professional and knowledgeable. I flew with a few other CFIs during my stage checks and had a very good experience. Looking forward to finish PPL and move forward with my further training.

  I'm currently enrolled here working toward my private pilot license, and the experience has been great so far. The staff makes everything easy and pleasant to deal with, from scheduling to general questions. My CFI, Tatum has been amazing! But, every instructor I've flown with has been patient, helpful, and generous with feedback on all aspects of my training — ground knowledge, maneuvers, radio communication, you name it. I'd definitely recommend this school to anyone starting their flight training in Sarasota.

  Just finished an amazing experience with my 12-year-old son. Hasan was friendly, patient, and made the whole flight enjoyable from start to finish. The best part was how much he let my son actually fly the plane. It was a dream come true for him. You can tell Hasan loves teaching and sharing his passion for aviation. My son is still talking about it. We highly recommend this place and especially Hasan to anyone interested in flying.
