Professor Athanassie honestly made what is know to be the hardest semester of our BSN program feel doable. She was always there for us, not only teaching the material but actually supporting us through it. You can tell she really cares about her students and wanted us to succeed. What I appreciated most is that she actually listened to us. When we gave feedback, she didn’t just brush it off. She took it seriously and used her own free time to make changes and help us understand the content, which made the biggest difference. It made us feel heard and respected. She created a really comfortable environment where it felt okay to ask questions. Even when things got stressful, she stayed patient and understanding. Overall, she just made a tough semester feel a lot more manageable and I’m really grateful for that. She’s the best professor I have had throughout this program so far and I thought it should be recognized.

Professor Athanassie is honestly one of the best professors I’ve had. I had her for both Pharm and MDC and she just knows how to teach. She explains things in a way that actually makes sense and takes her time until it clicks. You never feel rushed or dumb for asking questions, and she really wants you to understand, not just pass an exam. She LISTENS and really shows up for her students. That’s not something you see often. During one of my hardest semesters, she made sure we had resources, support, and everything we needed to stay on track. Because of her, I made it through a horrible semester and excelled. If you get the chance to take her, take it. She has made a huge difference in my cohorts nursing careers. (Honorable mention to Professor Hernandez who made pathophysiology not scary)

I just want to take a moment to recognize Prof. Athanassie for everything she poured into our MDC2 and Pharmacology courses. She consistently pushed us to think deeper and truly understand the material—not just memorize it for exams. You could tell she genuinely cared about preparing us for the real demands of nursing, not just helping us get through a class. Her expectations were high, but so was her support, and that made all the difference. I’m really grateful for the foundation she helped build going forward in the program.

Hannah was absolutely amazing! I was worried that once I showed interest, that I would be spammed with unwanted calls, but she was knowledgeable, always had a quick response if I had a question, and was always understanding. Thank you so much Hannah, for helping me get started on my journey!

I had an amazing experience working with my admissions counselor, Jessica Cloutheir. She was always prompt, incredibly accurate, and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Throughout the entire process, she was there for me every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. What stood out the most was her dedication—if she didn’t have an immediate answer, she made sure to direct me to the right person or resource without delay. Her constant communication, support, and understanding truly made a difference. Overall, she was outstanding, and I honestly don’t think I would have gotten started without her guidance and encouragement. I’m very grateful for her help and highly recommend her to anyone going through the admissions process.
