  I’d just like to give a BIG thank you to Amber Hewitt, an Academic Advisor at Rasmussen University. Although I’m very proud of how far I’ve come during my time at the school, I truly could not have made it as far as I have without Amber. She is outstanding, attentive, and empathetic. From the very beginning of my enrollment up until where I am now, a year in, she has helped me overcome some tremendous hurdles. I cannot thank her enough for her prompt responses, guidance, and always finding solutions when I needed them. Not only has she helped me achieve academic success, but she takes it a step further and goes above and beyond to be a genuine support system. She always makes it a point to remind me that I can achieve my dreams, even during the moments when I may not believe it myself. She has the type of professionalism, compassion, and empathy that I truly believe every college should require within their staff. She is the best, and I’m so grateful to have had her by my side throughout this entire process. Thank you for everything, Amber! ❤️

  As I missed the deadline to submit my course evaluations for these specific classes, I wanted to share some feedback on Professor Hernandez for Pathophysiology/Mental Health and Professor Athanassie for MDC 2/Pharmacology. Both of these professors are incredibly knowledgeable in the course material and go above and beyond to ensure the success of their students. Yes, nursing school is challenging especially when you are enrolled in an accelerated program. However, the lectures amongst these professors are filled with interactive style of learning - real life experiences/stories that tie to the material, mnemonics to help you understand the concepts, and additional notes/tools that ensure you truly understand the material. They are also readily available to answer any of your questions, guide your way of thinking and learning if you seek additional help, and will connect you with any resources available for your particular needs. I am grateful for these professors and the time and energy they have poured into these courses and to ensure myself and our cohort succeed. Love them! March 2027 anticipated graduation lets go!!!
