The Florida College of Medical and Dental Assistants was established in 1980. In 1989, the school's name was changed to Concorde Career Institute. In June 1990, the campus was relocated to a new facility designed to offer education benefits to the students in the southeastern region of the state of Florida. In March 2008, the school moved to its current location in Miramar.
