I absolutely love my Kindercare family! I have had my children in Kindercare for the last 6+ years and will continue to stay with them until my youngest graduates from vpk in 2 years. I have always felt that my kids are safe there and the director Melinda and assistant Director Kayla are awesome! The teachers are nice and always keep me updated on my children’s days with a logged activity through the app and pictures! Kindercare is the best!

I love this daycare. I have has bad experiences with other daycares regarding my children. This daycare has the most valuable teachers I have ever come across and the Director truly loves what she does. The kids are safe!!!! They are well taken care of. They are clean. The staff us loving and always optimistic. You cannot go looking for a daycare that is absolutely perfect because there's no such thing. But they follow the rules and the regulations of the state. They educate your children. And they make sure your kids are well fed, loved and that nobody gets left out. This place sets the bar extremely high . I absolutely LOVE THIS DAYCARE. I PLAN on keeping my kids here until they grow out of the acceptance ages. God bless this staff and this daycare!!!

I was looking for a place to nurture my 2 year old and help her transition from staying at home with me since she was born and Kindercare unfortunately did not meet our needs. First of all, administratively and technologically speaking, the center could use some updates. Communication is reserved via calling to check up on your child and/or slips of papers with some info provided at the end of the day- an outdated system in our current state of advanced options to help parents feel comfortable or in tune with their child's care and education. There is certainly also a disconnect between what is sold to you as their program and what I came to experience. Secondly, I was not provided the security code to enter the premises and found the front office to frequently be empty when dropping and picking up my child, another parent, wary of who I was as I did not have the code, provided it to me on my third visit. My husband who had never been to the facility was allowed to come in and pick up our child with zero clearance or security check, also alarming. The online payment system which was sold as a convenient way of payment was also not provided. My actual experience in seeing the child care aspect brought its own red flags. On two occasions I witnessed toddlers in the midst of meltdowns unattended and hysterically crying, both instances occurred when picking up my kid and broke my heart as it was possible that this could be my child on any occasion. Thirdly, was their lack of support and nurturing with the challenging milestone of potty training. I was told children are assisted and supported through this transition in an environment that is conducive to learning and mastering the use of the toilet. On one occasion my child came home with number two in her pamper with a burn from sitting on her poop for a long time, who knows how long she went unchanged. I was told to provide Destin and found my tube to be almost completely used yet my child wasn't changed. As a result, I began a rigorous at home potty training to help my daughter avoid being in an unchanged pamper as well as to be on par with her classmates in this area. My daughter was catching on and thriving at home however I understood that this too would a transition when at school. But again, another red flag when she was not comfortable enough and/or felt supported and/or was not attended to on several occasions which led to accidents to the point that I was told that she refused to be changed or sit on the potty, something that tells me she was uncomfortable and felt alienated. I expected there to be difficulty in this area but as a mother you know your child and must trust your instincts. Finally, one afternoon while on her 4th day, I called to check on my child as again no updates are sent via text or provided on their website and was told my child napped, this was what came to be the straw that broke the camel's back and my final red flag. My child does not nap, it is infrequent as she has always dropped her naps early, if she falls asleep uncharacteristically it is probably due to emotional distress, separation (as when I've left her with her grandparents and she's cried due to separation anxiety) and is usually prefaced with a meltdown of grand proportions that I would expect to be notified as I specifically communicated my availability. I was also told that "she might not be ready" to be in panties at school and that I hadn't paid for the last week or current week, points that I aforementioned that were faults of the administration. When I came to pick up my child as I had my mother's intuition blaring at this point, my child was hysterically crying out for me in a wet diaper. This school may be great for working parents with no alternative and/or completely potty trained toddlers but not for my little girl that needed the extra attention and nurturing to transition and thrive. Two stars were ultimately given bc the establisment was clean but certainly I feel it deserves one star due to my experience.
