  I don’t even know where to begin. First I paid well over $1,000 to do the evening classes and once the in person classes started I kept getting my classes cancelled. So I had to reschedule my work so that I can do the morning classes but even with that the times I was told classes started never started but later. There’s a lack of communication and everyone being on the same page. Class days were changed and moved around. Had to pay an extra $15 to do kind of test I do. I do give them credit for allowing to sit in a quiet room cause I do better but I kept getting interrupted every 5 minutes from the lady up front so I ended up failing the test. I was not liking the front staff attitude that whole day. I turned my state app in the beginning of the month still no response and when I reached out it took awhile to get a response they didn’t even submit my application once I was told they will resubmit it still hasn’t happened. It’s not worth it. Edit: gaslighting at its finest

  I would not recommend the CNA program at Horizon Healthcare based on my experience. I spent over $1,000 on the course and felt that I learned very little from the instruction provided. After failing my final exam, I asked about retaking the course, but I was told that I would likely need to proceed as a challenge candidate and complete the skills testing portion anyway. I was also disappointed with the communication from the front office. In my experience, it was often difficult to get clear information, and I found some interactions with the receptionist to be unhelpful and rude. This added to the frustration of trying to understand my options after completing the program. Looking back, I feel that self-studying with CNA books and online resources may have been a better value for me. Before enrolling, I encourage prospective students to research all available CNA training and challenge-testing options, compare costs, and decide which path best fits their needs.

  I had a good experience overall. Although I didn’t complete the full course, I was able to earn the other certifications here, including HIV, self-administration, and Alzheimer’s care. The materials provided gave me enough knowledge and confidence to challenge the state exam (E3) on my own—and pass. Even without finishing the program, I still had access to CNA videos and study resources, which helped me tremendously. For the price and flexibility this school offers, it’s definitely worth it. They provide the tools you need—it’s up to you to take advantage of them and succeed.

  I had an excellent experience with this nursing course. Nurse Dominique is truly outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, patient, and always willing to teach with clarity and professionalism. You can clearly see her passion for nursing and her commitment to her students’ success. Bella, the course secretary, also deserves special recognition. She is always kind, organized, and very helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The course is excellent overall, very well-structured, and truly prepares students for real practice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality nursing course.
