⭐ ONE STAR — I wish zero were an option. We are DONE with Northern Private School. Yesterday around 10 AM, my daughter was called and told her almost-2-year-old son had a 103.7°F fever and had to be picked up immediately. She picked him up and he was completely fine—hyper, playing, NO fever and no symptoms. He was evaluated by a doctor and we were told he was fine. He remained fever-free the entire day. So how exactly does a toddler go from 103.7 to NO FEVER without medication and never actually become sick? Maybe before disrupting a parent’s workday and sending a child home, CHECK YOUR THERMOMETER, change the batteries and verify an unusually high reading. I personally called that evening and spoke with Meghan, explained everything, and was told he could return the next morning. We brought him back—and suddenly they REFUSED to let him stay. Then another employee tried blaming it on Meghan being “new.” She’s NOT new. She’s been there since Daniel has attended. That’s an internal communication problem, not ours. Unfortunately, this isn’t our only issue. Daniel has repeatedly come home with bumps, bruises and bite marks, often without an incident report. They have cameras, yet getting answers about what happened to your child is another story. Daniel also has ear tubes, which means his ears can DRAIN—that is literally part of their purpose. Yet my daughter has repeatedly been called about normal drainage as though it’s automatically a reason to send him home. At this point, it feels like they look for any excuse possible to send children home and reduce their workload. And unlike many families receiving childcare assistance, WE PAY HIS TUITION ENTIRELY OUT OF POCKET. If we’re paying you for childcare, then PROVIDE CHILDCARE. If a child supposedly has a 103.7 fever, VERIFY IT. If a child gets hurt, DOCUMENT IT. If your employee says he can return, HONOR IT OR COMMUNICATE YOUR POLICY CORRECTLY. And if you’re going to advertise yourself as a Christian private school, your compassion, honesty, accountability and treatment of families should reflect that. Daniel is almost two. He’s hyper, busy and entering the terrible twos. That’s called being a TODDLER. Caring for toddlers is what we’re paying you to do. We’re pulling him from this facility. After the repeated unexplained injuries, inconsistent communication, unnecessary calls to pick him up, and now refusing care after specifically telling us he could return, Northern Private School will no longer receive another dollar from our family. “Private School” may be in the name, but our experience has been anything but the level of professionalism that name implies.

My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was just 10 months old she is now 5 just started kindergarten, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. From the very beginning, the teachers have been so loving, patient, and attentive. Not just to her needs, but to every child’s. It truly feels like a second home for her. Watching her grow, learn, and thrive here has been such a blessing. The staff goes above and beyond every single day, creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where the kids are encouraged to learn, play, and be themselves. I love how the teachers genuinely care about each child’s development and well-being. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands. We are so grateful for all the teachers and staff who have poured so much love into our little girl over the years. Choosing this daycare has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our family. Highly, highly recommend!

I love this daycare/school! I had two children attend VPK here. The last one was 7 years ago. I now have a one year old whom I plan on sending here as well. They are like no other facility. I’m pretty skeptical of anyone keeping my little miracle/rainbow baby but I know that they will do great.
