  The entire admissions team that has played a part in my arrival here has been awesome and on top of it!! As a LPN I've decided to advance my career by attending Rasmussen for my ADN. My goal is to be a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse. I feel like here is where my story continues to greatness!!

  Nikita, Daylen, and Paula have been exceptionally helpful in the entirety of the admissions process between start to finish, including timely responses and going above and beyond in relaying all information needed as-well as always following up! They were also incredibly encouraging during the entrance exam and did not let me stray away from success which I truly needed. An amazing advising team! Thank you.

  I had a great experience at Rasmussen University’s Tampa/Brandon campus. The nursing faculty and staff were welcoming, helpful, and informative. They clearly explained the nursing program expectations and answered our questions. I left orientation feeling more prepared and excited to begin my nursing journey!

  I am writing to offer my highest praise for Professor Murray and to share the profound impact she has had on my success as a LAMP student. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for me as her student makes her an exceptional mentor and an invaluable asset to your program. Throughout my journey to becoming a licensed PN, Professor Murray consistently went above and beyond. She took the time to answer every question I had, no matter how busy her schedule was. Her explanations were always clear, patient, and encouraging, helping me build both competence and confidence. What truly sets her apart is the emotional support she provides. There were moments when the stress of school made me doubt whether I would be able to finish. Each time, Professor Murray offered reassurance, perspective, and motivation. Her belief in me helped carry me through some of the most challenging periods of my education. I am proud to share that I passed the NCLEX-PN at 85 questions, and I wholeheartedly believe that her guidance played a significant role in that achievement. Her mentorship has shaped not only my academic success but also my growth as a future nurse. Professor Murray exemplifies excellence in teaching, mentorship, and student support.   Worst school. I feel like I got scammed. I had a horrible experience. The people in charge are rude and nasty for no reason and they kicked me out when I was having a medical emergency and I couldn't make it to the first day of class even though I told them what was happening. When you go in to take a tour they make it seem like you're going to have the best experience ever and that it's a great School. LIES. Some teachers who are nurses get hired and not trained on how to teach a class. There's 20 something chapters to do in the first week. I believe it was 27. Unless they changed it. I asked for some tips on how to go about studying thousands of pages of material and the teacher told me to figure it out. When I brought it to assistant dean, she went back and told the teacher what I said. And for that whole semester, the teacher had an attitude with me. I passed all of my exams before I got kicked out but the experience while you're there isn't worth it. There was one time I was forced to sit in a room and give a statement for something that happened in class. And they wouldn't let me go back to class. At the time I was scared to lose my spot in the program so I just sat there. I was told by the guy in charge "look at me when I'm talking to you". Who talks to an adult like that. My advice is to read reviews and talk to other students before making a decision on what school you go to. I go to Keiser now and I love it. I wasted time and money going to the school. And believe the program cost is about $20,000 for the LPN program. It's so expensive to be treated like trash. I tried to talk to two of my professors and they both agreed that what was happening and how I was being treated wasn't right but they were both afraid to speak up and say something. In nursing something very important that they teach you is to advocate for your patients and these teachers are already nurses and they can't advocate for their students? But to each their own. And I went down and read some of the other reviews and whenever the school responds back they say that the person commenting was never enrolled. BS.
