I had a wonderful experience at Rasmussen this morning. I went in to get information about the Nursing program and had the pleasure of meeting with Ms. Ehi. She was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, patient, and took the time to break everything down for me in a way I could easily understand. She answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable and confident about the program. She is truly doing a wonderful job and is a great asset to Rasmussen. Thank you so much, Ms. Ehi!

My experience has been a roller coaster! Everyone is reading for the good and bad so they can make an informed decision and i honestly can say Christian Corcoran wasn’t my advisor but the only person that tried to understand and helped me enroll. Before speaking to him I was pretty much on my own trying to figure things out. My admissions person was hard to reach and didn’t set me up for success. In orientation I got some help from other students and another advisor. On the first day I was dedicated to starting school so i showed up with no schedule and in uniform that another student told me to buy. Christian was heaven sent! Despite all of the misinformation and lack of information he cleared everything up for me. He responds to emails and returns calls too! I started school a day late because he worked and checked everything for me. Even when I gave up he said “no I want to try to help” give him some time. Nobody knows what we go through but we walk in the door wanting better for ourselves and before Christian’s help i was defeated. I say even if you have a bad experience, want it bad enough to keep going! Go to another advisor, speak to another person just do what you got to do because there are gems in there like Christian that will make you feel like you’re important and not commission. Thank you for not throwing your hands up and pushing me back another semester Christian! My journey begins with your hard work and kindness and i’m forever grateful! 3 stars for the school because it was difficult talking to staff. Even if your in the school they say “I’m in the building today but working remote, email me”, if you call the school someone is going to tell you that they are going to email someone for you and you’ll get a call back (maybe). Going on the first day I felt things were unorganized professors lost and students no schedule but I’m still moving forward and will be back to update. I hope it’s smooth sailing from here.
