  My son is definitely benefitting from the services here at the daycare ! He is learning so much . I definitely appreciate all of the learning activities and cool things you all do to provide the best care for the young ones .

  Absolutely the best daycare experience! My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 3 years old, and now at 6, I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for her. The staff is warm, patient, and truly cares about each child as if they were their own. They’ve supported her through every stage—socially, emotionally, and academically—and she has grown so much because of their dedication. The communication is always clear, the environment is safe and welcoming, and my daughter looks forward to going every single day. It gives me so much peace knowing she is not only well cared for but genuinely loved and encouraged. I cannot recommend this daycare enough. If you’re looking for a place where your child will thrive, this is it!

  I had a really bad experience at this daycare. Everytime I come to pick up my son, he will be crying. When they send me pictures of him during the day, you will see tears in his eyes. My son always looked so sad and haggard when he was there. He was losing weight rapidly, they keep telling me he’s not eating when they are not even trying much. He comes home with almost every food I give him. When the teachers see me from the window, they will rush and pick him up before I get to the door, but I will see the tears in his eyes, his runny nose and his red and puffy face. He always came home with scratches too, almost everyday. (He’s only had 1 scratch at his new daycare). I feel like the teachers do a lot of eye service when the parents are around, but once you turn your back, they neglect your child and only engage with them when it’s time for meals or diaper. It’s always so loud and chaotic there, I can only imagine what those poor babies go through. It was such a sad experience for me and my son. I would drop him off and will start crying because I know he’s going to be neglected and ignored for pretty much most of the day. I stayed 3 weeks too long cos I didn’t have a choice. As soon as I could get him out, I got him out immediately. And this is how they treat all the babies. Cos when I’m there, my son is their favorite and other kids will be crying and ignored. But once you turn your back and the next parent comes, their kid will be their favorite and they will ignore yours. I will not recommend this place at all. If you love your child, please look into other daycares before making a decision to enroll your child here. They will tell you what you want to hear and see, but those mean nothing when you leave.

  The entire staff at kindercare was simply amazing! Our experience surpassed our expectations with both of our children- from infant to preschool. We always felt so welcomed and knew our children were always in great hands!

  The only complaint I have is the cost of childcare these days. The cost of a childcare who is nationally known is just that much more- but, it’s not this center’s fault. I wish the photos on this page were updated because they’ve gone through a renovation since these photos. This specific center is the best location I’ve ever brought my children to and I’ve been to a few daycares. YMCA is the worst with lots of underage “teachers” who have no accreditation (so do NOT bother wither that unless you want to walk into your child being screamed at for having a temper tantrum). This center (Wallingford, CT) truly cares about their staff AND the children. I’ve never been uncomfortable at this place and neither have my children. If your child has a specific need (example: become uneasy if touched) they work very well to aid that child and the entire staff with the issue and make sure to take that into account when they interact without neglecting the needs and learning of there child. I’ve brought all my children to this place because as a single mother it’s SO hard to find anyone you trust around your children. This is NEVER an issue here. The staff is welcoming and ALWAYS attentive to the children. I have a child in the infant room and the teachers are so amazing with them. They work with any disability and still manage to get the child to reach milestones that doctors say they will be late on. I have two children in the toddler room and they always return home with smiles on their faces and always tell me about everything they did at school. My oldest is in the fours room and she’s doing so well writing her name and expressing herself. She’s such a social butterfly now, when I’m the beginning she was super shy. I’m forever grateful to these people. They’ve made my life as a single mother a little easier to manage m- even though the cost of daycare sucks - not the center’s specific fault though. I recommend this place to everyone! If you can’t afford it, please at least TRY for a childcare subsidy. That’s why those types of things are offered! The struggle is real. But, this childcare center is one of the absolute BEST!!!!
