The city of Aurora offers preschool during the school year (August to May) for children ages 3 or 4 years old (as of Oct. 1). We offer a variety of classes at our four preschool locations with both free and tuition-based options to meet the various needs of families. Each preschool location specializes in play-based to inspire curious minds at they begin their educational journey. Child must be potty trained to attend classes.
FREE Preschool Hours Program
All Colorado 4-year-olds qualify for 10 or 15 hours a week of free preschool tuition through the Universal Preschool Program. Select 4-year-olds (based upon state funding and qualifying factors) may receive 30 hours a week of free preschool. 4-year-olds who do not qualify for 30 hours.
