IECRM has truly felt like home — such a warm, welcoming community to be a part of! I'm beyond grateful for the incredible knowledge and guidance they've brought to the electrical trade. Huge shoutout to Mike Lempka for being an amazing instructor to finish out my fourth year with — couldn't have asked for better! Can't wait to celebrate with everyone at graduation! 🎉

Took my final for 1st semester 3rd year. Passed the class with an 80%. Passed the final wirh a 72%. Not great but still Passed. They then messaged me and said I failed my final I HAD to retake. When I did my 3rd attempt I didn't do as great. They are now saying new policy's I have to retake all 3rd year. Wait till next year, and redo it all. Requested to take the test a 3rd time , and they said i couldnt. They werent willing to work with me at all. There was nothing i could do to move on. Very discouraging and highly upset about it. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO IECRM to finish out any of my future schooling.

One of the biggest reasons I got into thre electrical trade is because at the end of the day, im a nerd. The second year curriculum and more importantly my teacher Jacob Jones reminded me that i am exactly where I need to be at. I have always loved electrical theory and all of the components it includes. I cannot emphasize how motivating it is to have a teacher who feels the same way and knows a huge amount about it. Mr. Jones is honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had (college included). He is passionate, motivated, and articulate. He cares about what he does and it shows. I cannot emphasize how important this is for an often exhausted apprentice trying to learn at night. I did not see Mr. Jones have one off night. To be candid, there were a few times where I was exhausted from working 50-60 hours a week. Mr. Jones, (admittedly with the occasional Monster from the vending machine) would bring me and the class to life. He is passionate about what he does and goes above and beyond the norm to get our class engaged and discussing whatever the subject at hand is. Jake is a great teacher and a huge asset to IEC.
