We can’t say enough positive things about this school. Our daughters have been in the preschool class and are soon moving up to pre-K and their teachers Miss Grace, and Mrs. Connolly have been absolutely fantastic. Our son is in an infant room with Miss Dulce and Miss Jasel and they are just incredible. The amount of care and intentionally give to the babies is top-notch. I was very hesitant to leave my kids at a daycare after we moved to a new state in new area, but they have made us feel right at home. Our children are truly cared for, and all 3 are thriving learning new things every day telling us all the fun stuff that they did we’re very pleased.

When I first toured primrose the experience was great nice teachers and a welcoming experience but shortly after a month of my child going here that turned around. My child was having some difficulties due to him having tantrums which some times my child will hit his head which is normal for a two year old especially if there not 100% verbal and still trying to learn there emotions. I tried to work with the school by suggesting ways to calm him down I also had AZIEP come to the school to evaluate him because they offer speech therapy and occupational therapy to see if there was anything they can do to help with my child tantrums and to help the school with anything unfortunately at that time he didn’t qualify because my child had no developmental delays and scored 95 on Every evaluation. I took my child to their pediatrician the doctor stated his behavior is normal and has no medical conditions are development issues gave them the note because every time my child attend the school I’ll get phone calls to come get him sometimes 15 mins after dropping my child off. My child was in a class that normally has 8 kids to one teacher ratio but only 5 kids attended daily which included my child. I witness other kids having tantrums and wonder if they where sending them home and treating their situation the same as my child or is it because my child is African American. One day I was speaking to Ms Kelly she tried to diagnose my child with a medical condition by stating my child required a one on one with his condition no one there is a licensed physician which is illegal. Once I stated it was illegal for her to try to diagnose my child and my child doesn’t has a medical condition she changed how she spoke about my child moving forward after. Thats when everything went haywire the next time my child attended the school within a hour of him being there I received a call stating my child had to be picked up due to him having another tantrum and he hit his head I told them I can’t come get him because I’m at work on my 18 wheeler but I will have my mother come to get my child right now. I hung up with them
Immediately called my mother to go get my child after I hung up with my mother I immediately got another called stating they was calling emt my mom got there they had the cops there and emt they wouldn’t let my mom touch my child etc prior to this day my son had a tantrum and hit his head which they seen at out parent meeting two days prior because they asked what happened to his head which I have on recording which I told them what happened. Earlier that morning before I took my child to school he just seen his pediatrician which checked my child out etc and Kelly told emt it was a new injury so emt took my child to the hospital which is fine but later that evening I received a call stating they was suspending services due to his tantrums and his self harming which is a safety issue I said ok but two days later Dcs is at my door stating they have a report stating neglect, unable and unwilling to control child behavior that threatens severe harm to self or others please do not send your kids here something is not right about this school !!!!!
I repeat if your child has terrible twos tantrums or African American do not send your kids here trust me I never experience anything like this before!!

I was a substitute teacher and traveled all around the Surprise/Glendale/Peoria area. The moment I walked into Primrose School of Surprise, I was in awe. The smiles, the laughter, the education, the cleanliness, the food, & the staff.. TOP TIER. I have substituted for some schools that I just have such a heavy heart leaving. Primrose School of Surprise cares. They truly care for your child as if they were their own. And the education?! Wow! Most schools just 'get through the day' but this one will not only give them lessons during the day, they are also doing music & dancing, being creative with paints or crayons, and you get to see it all through the parent portal. Oh and the director Kelly- PHENOMENAL. She does not stop. She is bouncing around helping everyone everywhere, answering calls, taking tours, and hugging your kiddo as she does it. Please stop in and take a look around, your child will absolutely benefit from this school and be loved while learning. Highly recommend!
