If I could give 10-stars, I would. This place was a great experience for nearly 3 years for our little one. The teachers were each amazing, caring, and did a phenomenal job teaching our daughter. Now that our 5-year has headed off to kindergarten - we can REALLY see just how much she learned at Primrose. She is way ahead of her peers at public school kinder right now. ABC's, #'s, writing both, reading, colors, shapes, manners, you name it - she is way ahead of the other kids her same age (or many months older) in her class and I directly attribute that lead to the great education she received at Primrose School on Tatum. (Mrs. Harris, Ms. Grimes, Mrs. Hawkins were all GREAT teachers! Not to mention all the great add-ons they offered from Introduction to Sports, Dance, and Karate Charlie - oosh!) Highly recommend this great school.

I would not recommend Primrose School at Tatum based on our family’s experience.
Over the course of a year, my son was bitten more than 30 times while in their care, including one incident that became infected and required medical treatment. Many incidents were not communicated promptly, and despite multiple meetings with leadership, the concerns continued without meaningful improvement.
I later learned that leadership had reportedly told other families that my son was the cause of many classroom issues and that things would improve once he left. However, several parents shared that the same concerns continued after his departure, suggesting deeper issues were never addressed.
Before enrolling, I encourage families to review the school’s state licensing and compliance records. While there are caring teachers, I found leadership’s communication, accountability, and handling of safety concerns to be disappointing.
Ultimately, I withdrew my son because I no longer felt confident that the environment was safe or supportive.

We have greatly valued the exceptional education, open communication, and dedication of the teachers and administrative staff. We are especially grateful for Ms Grimes and her remarkable ability to create a nurturing, positive learning environment while inspiring and educating her students. Her commitment to fostering both academic growth and personal development has made a lasting impact, and we deeply appreciate the care, encouragement, and enthusiasm she brings to the classroom each day.
