Leaving your child in someone else’s care requires an enormous amount of trust, and unfortunately, our experience at Primrose Hughes Landing in The Woodlands broke that trust in ways I am still trying to process as a parent. While the school is beautiful on the outside, the care on the inside did not feel nurturing, attentive, or emotionally safe. There was frequent staff turnover, which made it difficult for my child to feel secure or build consistent relationships. Instead of thriving, I watched my child struggle. Most concerning was the noticeable regression we experienced after enrolling. My child began picking up negative behaviors that were not present before, and we even experienced a setback in potty training — something that had already been successfully established. Watching your child move backward emotionally and developmentally is incredibly upsetting, and no parent should have to question whether an environment is contributing to that. When I brought concerns forward, I did not feel met with empathy or partnership. Communication from leadership felt dismissive and defensive, as though policies mattered more than the well-being of the children. I often left feeling unheard and uneasy rather than reassured. Childcare should feel like a trusted extension of your home — a place where children are supported, guided, and cared for with patience and understanding. Instead, this experience felt cold and impersonal, and it took an emotional toll on our family. I carried constant anxiety, wondering what my child was being exposed to and how it was affecting them. I truly wanted this to be a positive experience, but it fell far short. I hope this school reflects deeply on how its environment, staffing, and leadership impact children during such critical developmental years. Parents deserve transparency, compassion, and care — and children deserve better.

Primrose School of The Woodlands at Hughes Landing has been a great experience for my daughter! You can tell that the teachers truly care. They have a curriculum which I feel is making an impact and preparing my daughter for the next steps of her educational journey. English is not her first language and they took great care of her. Can't wait to send her back once all this COVID-19 craziness ends.

Completely disappointed with the attention received summer camp 15-26 june. They have charged me 3 weeks instead of 2 (the ones that my kids attended) even they confirm me they were not going to do it. I remove my kids when they announce a father of a girl from the same class was positive in Covid-19. Apart from this incident, the food was awful, and even one day they had to remove it because it was in bad condition. The attention from the staff, was far behind the professionalism and passion I am used to from Primrose Sterling Ridge. So I cannot recommend Hughes Landing brand and I won’t return.
