I started bringing my son to Gymboree Southlake in 2023 when he was about 10 months old, fast forward 2026, and we are still happy campers at Gymboree. I initially wanted to bring my son here for social interaction with kids his age, as I was a stay at home mom when we first started coming, and i really wanted him to see new faces other than just mine all day. We started off with crawlers class, and from there transitioned into walkers class, to runners class along with music class, and art class & countless open gym sessions as he’s gotten older. They often change the set up of the equipment so it doesn’t get boring or repetitive, and my son gets excited when he sees everything rearranged as if it’s his first time being there all over again. It’s been amazing seeing my son transition through all these milestones, and phases of his early childhood here at Gymboree. I’ve gotten to see him go from taking his first steps to mastering the web-climber. From hating to get his hands dirty, and avoiding touching certain textures during art class, to now being comfortable with finger paint, and okay with getting his hands a little messy….. or a lot lol. I truly believe that Gymboree plays a huge role in my son being so confident, and sure of himself because Gymboree has always been a safe space for him to be himself with no judgment. I sometimes find myself apologizing for his behavior when he is having an off day, but Iam always reassured that it is perfectly fine, he’s just being a kid. No one is judging his behavior, and we are learning and growing together which is very comforting, and makes me feel at ease to know that we are wanted there regardless of the occasional tantrums. I love coming to Gymboree because it is dedicated time that I get to spend with my child without any distractions vs if we were at home I’d probably be thinking I need to get x,y, and z done. We also love Gymboree because regardless if it’s rainy, too cold, or too hot outside, we always have a safe place to get our energy and creativity out indoors. My son attended summer camp for the first time this past summer at Gymboree, and I think it was a great experience for him to get exposure being in a classroom setting, and getting comfortable with the idea of being away from me for a couple of hours. As a first time mom the idea of being away from your child for the first time can be a little nerve wrecking, vice versa for a child, but we got to ease into it together, and I wasn’t forced to leave him alone right away which I appreciate because it wasn’t a traumatizing experience for my son. He quickly caught on that he was in a safe space, and I would be coming back. During that time I felt at ease knowing that I could text or call, and would be reassured that my son was okay if I had any worries. From day one Jessica was very welcoming, along with the rest of the staff, always checking in and making sure we are still satisfied, and are not having any issues or concerns. The teachers have always been attentive, and detailed. They have seen my child’s favorite color change from yellow to blue, from calling himself Leonardo from the ninja turtles, to now thinking he is Jack Skellington from the nightmare before Christmas, and always remember his preferences which I truly appreciate because it shows that they are actually paying attention, and are there teaching because they want to be. Not to mention they are also always alert & attentive when it comes to any allergy concerns with the snacks. I recommending people to Gymboree because I want them to get to experience it too ! Also I love that you can pause your membership if you need a break as some months get busier ect, and pick back up whenever you are ready. Thank you Gymboree family for your dedicated time!!

We love Gymboree! It is such a fun place to take our toddler to let her get some energy out, especially on a hot, cold, or rainy day. We have been coming here since she was crawling, and it is wonderful knowing they have great activities for all stages of development -- crawling, walking, climbing, jumping! It's extra special to me to take my child since I played at Gymboree when I was little, too. We wish we lived closer so we could come more often!
