My kid attended this daycare briefly. They told me that Ms. Joel, one of the assistants/teachers, grabbed their arm very tightly and hard. I immediately reported the incident to the director. Unfortunately, no action was taken,no apology, no follow-up, and no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again.
The classrooms are also very crowded, with more than 23 children at times, which raises serious questions about proper supervision.
Multiple times (more than three) when I picked up my kid, I saw other children crying on the floor in the playground area, with no staff member helping, comforting, or even acknowledging them. I also learned from another person that my own kid had been crying at the playground and was “grounded” (put in time-out), yet every single day when I asked the assistant teacher how their day went, she always replied that “everything was good” and never once mentioned any crying, distress, or disciplinary actions.
Feeling that my child’s emotional and physical well-being was not being prioritized, I decided to withdraw them right away. I am very worried about the other children still attending. Parents should be extra careful and look for better options.

We have had a wonderful experience at Primrose at Round Rock and Great Oaks. My son has been here since he was 2.5 years old. We have been to many other daycares but the growth we have seen in our son both developmentally and socially, has been incredible here. He has gained confidence, made friends, and is excited and happy to go to school every day. He is now able to write and color at an age appropriate level, and we are so, so thankful for the nurturing and supportive environment.
We also love all the fun community events they offer. Our son has enjoyed every event, and we are so grateful for how accommodating and supportive the staff has been, especially with his sensory and hearing needs.
A special thank you to Mrs. Evelyn and Mrs. Aaliyah, Mrs. Monika, and Mrs. Reyes for the care, patience, and encouragement you have shown to our son. Your impact on his growth means more to our family than you know. We highly recommend Primrose to any family looking for an exceptional place that will treat your child like one of their own.

My children have been at this school for only a couple of months now, but it is fantastic. We previously attended a Primrose in the Houston area before we moved here and we love the philosophy and foundation of Primrose Schools. However, when COVID first happened, we took our daughter out of that location and when we went to put her back, there was case after case after case without any real consideration from those owners for closing classrooms etc. It was a "what can ya do" approach and it just did not make us comfortable having our child there. The RR location obviously has different owners and I can tell you their policies regarding COVID are top notch along with their run of the mill sick policy as well.
The teaching staff is amazing with our children and the front office staff are so accomodating, even in times of very low childcare availability and space, especially for infants. We were able to be flexible with our infant start date, and I know they appreciated that from us. I know not all families can do that, but we were able to and it not only helped them out it allowed us to go ahead and start our older child in the preschool classroom so that we didn't have to continue holding her out of school until space was available for both.
My preschool child does cry at every single drop off, but both of her teachers are so sweet and help her settle in within minutes each day. She's already made great friends in her class and on the weekends always says "I want to go back to school" (yes even with the crying at drop off, she still wants to go every day. I think that speaks volumes for how well she does when she settles into the class for the day!)
My infant always has a great time. The teachers love him and I love his teachers! They're always so timely updating the app with his meals/diaper changes/naps and photos and you can really tell these ladies have a true love for their jobs and the children they care for! They follow YOUR schedule for them regarding feeding etc. as well as your instructions on what to do if they sleep through the next feeding etc. They do everything possible to make you 1,000% comfortable and confident in leaving your child in their care that you don't have to worry about whether or not they're going to do things the way you do at home, because they most definitely listen to the parents and go off of baby's cues!
I would recommend this particular Primrose to anyone who asks!
My grandkids love going to Primrose. They are so happy when I drop them off during our Austin visits and are always excited to tell me how their day was at pick up. The building is secure and I like that I have my own password to the school. The classrooms are always clean and teachers are kind and friendly.

Love this school! My daughter is almost 3 and has been attending for almost a year. This is our first daycare experience and I'm so happy we decided on Primrose. The staff is incredible and very communicative. They are also very open to feedback and suggestions, which I think is so critical during these pandemic times. I never feel like I'm in the dark and they are very thorough and transparent with parents as they navigate through ongoing regulation and safety changes. They also post regular updates via an app on your kiddo and are always doing such fun and engaging activities. One of the reasons we picked this location too was because the teacher turnover rate is low when compared to many daycares and they have a curriculum they follow so I feel my daughter is learning everyday. If you are having doubts, don't because this place is amazing!
