Our experience at Primrose School of Pearland Parkway was deeply disappointing and concerning.
We made the decision to withdraw our child due to multiple issues we observed, including lack of professionalism, favoritism (especially involving staff members’ children
), and the way some teachers treated the kids. We witnessed and experienced situations where teachers would raise their voices at children in a way that felt inappropriate and damaging to their confidence and emotional well-being.
More seriously, our child reported that a teacher hit her. This is extremely alarming and unacceptable in any childcare setting.
We provided a two-week notice out of respect and professionalism, intending for our child to finish on good terms. However, just three days before her last scheduled day, the school abruptly expelled her. This felt retaliatory and unprofessional.
Additionally, our child told us that on that same day, she was not given food, which raises serious concerns about basic care and supervision.
As parents, we expected a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I strongly encourage other parents to ask detailed questions and carefully observe how children are treated before enrolling here.
Responding to your message
Thank you for your response.
If safety is truly your top priority, I would like to understand how, with two or three teachers present in the classroom, an incident where a teacher hit my daughter could occur without anyone noticing or intervening. That is deeply concerning.
Additionally, it feels very unfair that my daughter was removed from the program just days before her last scheduled day, especially considering that you were already aware we had given notice and had decided to withdraw her.
As parents, we trusted your school to provide a safe and nurturing environment. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that, and that is the reason for my review.

Primrose has been an amazing school experience! Our son has learned and continues to blossom so much! At 2.5 he can count in Spanish and has a really good appetite and experience when it comes to trying new food! The staff is always very friendly, helpful and communicates with anything that may happen during the day! As first time parents this really puts our mind at ease! I really appreciate the kindness they show everyday and love! Top tier at all times and we are forever grateful!

I have several concerns about this daycare. The staff is very inconsistent with their procedures, which made the experience frustrating. While my child attended, they often begged not to be dropped off, which was alarming.
I was frequently contacted by staff about my child’s behavior, and many of the reports felt exaggerated.
Despite an agreed-upon last day, my child was expelled three days early.
Afterward, a former staff member anonymously shared that other children with more serious behavior issues were never reported to their parents. This raised concerns about fairness and consistency.
I also observed what appeared to be favoritism. Some parents seemed to have closer relationships with staff, and their children were rarely reported for issues, while others were consistently singled out.

Our daughter has been going here for over 2 years. The staff is great and communicates well. She loves going to ‘school’ everyday and adores her teachers!
