We absolutely love Primrose at Pearland Parkway! The staff here have been nothing short of fantastic!! The front staff, the cook- everyone is exceptional people! They also have a great curriculum. My son has attended here since 10 months old and he’s now 3 1/2. He can tell me about landforms, flower parts and what they need to grow, fresh and salt water, and so much more. I wouldn’t want him anywhere else and will be sad when he has to go to big school!

Being new to Texas I prayed and search online and praise God I was led here. Being new to a state with a toddler and no network local is crazy on its own. We toured the school and my discernment led me to pay to join the waiting list immediately. I googled how close our house would be and it was less than 7 mins. This was 3 years ago!!! Primrose has helped our son grow in tremendous ways academically and socially. The way they treat the kids is priceless. There is always a listening ear for your questions and countless warm hearts for your child to grow.

Where do I begin.....hearing anything but wonderful things about this facility is like an attack on my family. Because that’s what Primrose and the management at this facility make you feel like, family. For those looking for a place where your children, your babies, your hearts are cared for with nothing but love and compassion, look no further because you have found it at Primrose Pearland Parkway. People that complain about management, especially those that have never worked there themselves, which I can only assume these people are, must have litttle to do with their time. I have referred countless people and their children to Primrose, not just in Pearland, but across the state of Texas. Why if i ever thought Management was poor would I ever do something like this? If someone sees children as only misbehaving then perhaps this is not the field for them, and I am glad you are no longer working with my children at this school. I would encourage anyone to send your child to Primrose Pearland Parkway there is nowhere I would trust my children with than this place. An attack on them is an attack on every parent that sends their child to such a wonderful school.

On August 26, my son was expelled from Primrose School of Pearland Parkway.
He had been going to Primrose since he was just a little over a year old. It was the first daycare he had ever been to and I truly believed the hype when we decided to enroll him there. The campus and curriculum are very impressive. I wanted the best for my baby just as I’m sure you do.
He had never had any behavioral issues up until about a month or so prior to being expelled that I was made aware of. He hit a patch where he was hitting and throwing toys- he is a three year old only child. These behaviors are text book and should be a piece of cake for any skilled caregiver to handle.
As things came to a head about one week prior to his disenrollment, I had exactly one meeting with the area director. This meeting was unplanned and completely coincidental. She gave advice on things to implement in the home to help him to correct his behavior and we came up with an action plan. I followed this advice to a T and while his behavior did improve, he was still having some tough days.
The day he was disenrolled, I received a call that he needed to be picked up and was informed that it would be his last at Primrose. None of the protocols we had discussed in the meeting had been followed, such as my getting a phone call and getting to speak to my son prior to his behavior escalating. I work less than five minutes from the campus and I even let them know that if they called me while his behavior was in progress, I would come to the school and correct him myself. None of this occurred even once following our meeting. And here he was being unceremoniously tossed out on his little three year old behind!
I was shocked! The director and I had discussed an action plan, it wasn’t followed and now my baby was the one to suffer. I requested to speak once again to the area director and was told she would call me back. She never did. There was no follow up…no concern for my son’s transition process. Nothing to give me any wisp of their caring for my child.
So, if you are considering Primrose consider this: If your child should hit a rough patch behaviorally, how would you expect or hope it to be handled? I was extremely let down by Primrose in this regard. Since he started his new school he did have some of the past behaviors surface, but the teachers and the directors of the new school have absolutely showered him with positivity and extra special attention and care and his behavior has had an incredible turnaround! I never realized how inferior Primrose was because I had never experienced any other schools, but I can see now how Primrose lacked true warmth and caring toward my child.
At the new school the difference I’ve noticed is remarkable. My baby sings songs! He’s excited to go to school EVERY day! He comes home talking about new games he’s played and the school has a visual discipline system which has worked wonders. Primrose didn’t have a system like this in their classrooms, or any structured system for discipline that I was aware of.
So, if you are considering Primrose for your child, I would urge you to consider someplace else!
