My husband and I have been so happy with our Primrose experience. The facilities are always clean and well organized, and the building has good security. I love that even the infants have a varied curiculum that provides them ample opportunity to work on developmentally appropriate skills. I love receiving pictures of what my son is up to during the day, and his teachers are always happy to give updates on how he is doing at pick-up. Mrs. Connor and all of the staff at Primrose seem genuinely invested in my son's well being, and that gives me the peace of mind I was looking for when picking a daycare. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a daycare.

I am traumatized walking out of the school after six months of commitment. All I can think of is that we should have withdrawn three months ago when we first felt uneasy with them. Better yet, should never have been there.
During the short six months we were there, we have been given incident reports a couple of times. In addition, My LO would tell me that she was pushed, fell, or hit. Sometimes the teachers help, sometimes they don’t. Every day I feel the pain of sending her to school anticipating her being hurt.
This time we got a call that she was KICKED IN THE FACE while sitting on the floor. It was described as an accident. How could someone accidentally kick one in the FACE??? I was furious, as any loving parent would be. Yet I went to the school and basically what I heard was: it was an accident and there was nothing to do. My feelings weren’t validated. My concerns were dismissed. It wasn’t until I expressed the concerns that my and my kid’s safety were endangered when the conversation started to become somewhat constructive.
Yet here comes another twist: my kid comes home and tells us: it wasn’t a student that kicked her. It was a teacher that bonked her with a chair.
I’m writing this post with the fear of retaliation. But this needs to be heard. Our story is not alone. We have seen angry parents at dropoffs. Her classmates were leaving one after one. Yet there are only five star reviews and obviously not even four stars.
There had been many times when I saw one teacher with 20 students in the 2-3 yo classroom. I believe primrose has its own syllabus and is required to do at least one activity per day. It was true when we first started however I have not received any art work or activity pictures for four months. Did not receive any photo updates for two months. The teacher turnover is huge. We’d be thanking God if one teacher stayed for over a month. So if you’re looking for a place that charges $500 more than other centers, 1:20 teacher to student ratio, frequent injuries, and two week average teacher retaining time, here’s the place for you!
