  Literally had the best experience in the short time we were here, it was my daughter’s first daycare and everyone here was amazing. I cannot thank the teachers and directors enough. Sage adores you all and I am eternally grateful! Sad we had to leave so soon, but we will be back. They really care about you and your child. My baby is always fed, happy and loved when she is in the care of the KinderCare family❤️ Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! I will be bringing her to visit and hopefully to be back in the near future.

  This daycare has been AMAZING the past year my son has been there. The teachers are always so loving, patient and truly invest in my son’s life. We have no worries dropping him off every day. Highly recommend to anyone considering!

  Bunker Hill KinderCare was recommended to me by a family member and now I am recommending this location! My daughter was enrolled in the preschool (three’s) class from November 2018 to June 2019 and although her time there was short, she made friends, learned a lot, and was sent home almost daily with activities and pictures of how her day went (which made me feel very comfortable btw). Being a first time mom who doesn’t really trust anyone with her daughter it was hard to transition her from being cared by a trusted family member to “strangers” at a child care center. After research, reviews, tours, etc... I’m glad my fiancé and I made the decision to enroll our daughter at this location because it gave her a sense of independence and prepared us for what to kind of expect once she officially started attending elementary school! Not to mention that the place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. My daughter favored Ms. Adriana at one point because Ms. Adriana made her feel warm and welcomed during the tour so that was her “go-to” staff member before she was promoted to assistant director. Another reason for this review is because when we missed the registration deadline for the 2019-2020 HISD Pre-K school year, our daughter was put on a waiting list over the summer. We were not sure if our daughter would be accepted into Pre-K as she was #6 on the waiting list or if we would have to keep her enrolled at Bunker Hill KinderCare for another year. During this time, my niece was home for the summer and asked to spend time / care for my daughter (make babysitting money lol). We withdrew my daughter for the summer so she could spend time with my niece and Ms. Ashlynn was kind enough to hold my daughters spot for 3 months just in case she didn’t make the waiting list for school and had to return to Kindercare. Fortunately (bittersweet), I received a call 2 days before the first day of the HISD school year informing me that my daughter was accepted into Pre-K and I was able to register her in time and get her situated, but I’m still very grateful as I wasn’t too hopeful about the waiting list! I will not forget about this place if I ever have another child and he/she needs to attend daycare! Thank you :)

  I am honestly one of the pickiest ppl in the world and had a live in nanny watch both my kids for almost 1.5 years and then decided to transition them into daycare. I swear I researched every church school, child care, daycare around the memorial area but everywhere had a waitlist at the time and decided to try out kindercare. I just wanted to say the director Ashlynn is definitely one of the sweetest ppl Ive ever met and will bend over backwards to help you with anything. I had my toddler in the toddler class and her teachers were amazing and still text me periodically to check on my kids even though we no longer go there. They truly love my kids and my kids love them as well. I put my infant in the infant class when he was 8 months old for only 2 months but the teachers there loved him so much and really spoiled him. Honestly Ive never seen teachers go this above and beyond for a baby but when my 8 month old son had a butt rash the teachers actually washed him with water instead of using wet wipes to help him heal faster. We were there for only 2 months until we got accepted into a dayschool but Kindercare made transitioning from a nanny to daycare so easy for me. I have zero complaints about the teachers and staff but the only reason I left was b/c we were on the wait list for a day school and wanted a smaller teacher to child ratio. Otherwise kindercare was great besides the ratio for teachers to kids.

  Bunker Hill KinderCare (Center Number 000063) Negligence On April 26th, 2018 I took my daughter to Bunker Hill KinderCare (Center Number 000063) It was a direct blow to our family when at 5:30 pm she was picked up and her mother noticed her two front teeth chipped, busted lip, and a hit on her chin. As parents, we inquired to what had happened and the Center Director, Ashlynn Snelling, was clueless about what had happened to our daughter. She asked her staff after we filled a report if our daughter had fallen, cried out loud, screamed, or interacted with other kids that would have caused this, and no one saw when the accident happened nor, did they see the blood on her lips. Three incident reports were filled stating the names of the four people that interacted with our daughter that day: Kim, Tam, Yesenia & Amber. To say that there was Child Care Center negligence is an understatement. Bunker Hill KinderCare (Center Number 000063) made no effort in caring for our daughter when she fell nor, did they communicate to us when it happened. No one could tell us what had happened to our daughter. We were informed that no closed-circuit cameras nor parent cameras are present in their facility. Interestingly enough, I had received pictures of her first three days but received nothing from the facility today. I asked to see any pictures taken today of my daughter to correlate the time that the incident happened but was informed that they had not been downloaded. We are fully aware that accidents occur in any facility but to not inform or hide this information from the parents is unprofessional, inconsiderate, and should be concerning to any parent that wishes to enroll their child at this location. Effective immediately we will be removing our daughter from this location for her safety and care.
