We’ve been part of Primrose NE Flower Mound for the past three years, and it has been an incredible experience for our family. We initially enrolled our oldest daughter to help her grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively—and this school has delivered on all of that and more. Now both of our daughters attend, and it’s been so rewarding to see them build friendships, develop strong social skills, and grow academically in such a nurturing environment. The teachers and staff truly care about each child, and it shows in everything they do. One of the things we appreciate most is the daily communication—we love receiving photos and videos that give us a glimpse into their day. It’s clear our girls are happy, engaged, and learning. What really sets this location apart is how personal it feels—every teacher knows our daughters by name, which speaks volumes about the level of care and attention each child receives. We highly recommend Primrose NE Flower Mound to any family looking for a supportive, engaging, and loving daycare environment!

My twin boys have been going to Primrose of NE Flower Mound for a little over a year now. We were having a lot of behavioral issues and constant melt downs prior to starting at Primrose but once they did start things have dramatically changed for the better and definitely it has been more manageable. From the teachers to the staff, everyone is so attentive and compassionate. They not only care but they understand the hardship of raising twin boys and especially in this toddler stage that seems to be the hardest for me. They have given us so much guidance on how to teach and regulate there emotions. I can reach out to the staff about anything and they truly take the time to sit with me, talk things through and find a plan that works best for each individual child. I love not only being able to have a clear open line of communication but most importantly having the most undivided support and understanding. Especially Robyn, the campus director, who has listened and taken time out of her busy schedule to be so attentive and understanding and always willing to help with every situation. We are forever grateful and blessed to have found our village with Primrose of NE Flower Mound!

Our family started here 6 years ago and loved everything about it. There were so many teachers we connected with on a personal level and it truly felt like a family. That’s why writing this review is such a heartbreak and disappointment. The last year or two is when we began seeing the steady decline at Primrose. It started with small things like miscommunications, a decline in pictures of our individual children, or not getting staff information letters when someone new would start. Then it transitioned to teachers leaving without any notice from management until the day of or the day before, high turnover rates, and very inconsistent communication or documentation about important information regarding our kids. The long term staff left and were replaced by individuals who were not nearly as kind or trustworthy as we were used to and eventually we hardly knew the names of those working in the classrooms. We had several incidents where a staff member would yell at our son or raise their voice at the class. Our son was called a “bad kid” on multiple occasions and he would come home and cry. They would talk about their personal life drama in front of the kids and then our son would come home and repeat things or ask questions about adult topics. The inconsistencies in routine and staff were so severe that our older son started having behavioral issues and overall difficulties in class and we weren’t notified about this until 6-7 months later. And it was another family that talked to us about it, not the teachers or the management. Plus there was little to no documentation over the course of that time that could’ve helped us intervene and advocate for our child sooner. We were having so many issues and felt like our oldest needed more support so we decided to leave their after school program once he started kindergarten. Since leaving, his school anxiety is gone, he no longer says he’s a bad kid if he feels like he’s made a mistake and he is happy and excited to go to class every day. We kept our younger two kids there because of our history with Primrose, the few remaining staff that we adored and didn’t want to leave, and the hope that they could turn things around and get back to the wonderful daycare they used to be. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. They merged their other school with this location and that really was the beginning of the end. The high turnover rates continued, classrooms were overcrowded, the teachers were exhausted, overwhelmed and unsupported, and the overall communication was awful. It was so disheartening to hear how the teachers were being talked to, undervalued and treated by management behind the scenes. I honestly could go on and on. Then our infant daughter came home one day with a large bruise on her bottom and no one knew how it happened nor did they even notice it was there. We pulled our kids immediately. After a hospital visit and a very thorough investigation by the authorities, we were able to determine it was due to an underlying medical issue and not abuse but the damage was done. We no longer felt like we could trust Primrose to put the needs of our children first and no amount of history or love could’ve made us stay. Now our kiddos are at a new place and it finally feels like we can breathe again. We loved our toddler teacher at Primrose and it was so so hard to leave her. (She’s been with us since the beginning!) But seeing how much happier our middle son is in his new class really opened our eyes to the effects all of the turnover and inconsistencies was having on him. He sees the same teacher every day, M-F and the class size is much smaller so he’s no longer overwhelmed or overstimulated. I feel guilty that we let our history with Primrose get in the way and didn’t leave sooner. I truly hope they are able to turn things around and get back to the way things used to be but until then, I couldn’t in good conscience recommend this facility.

Joined 3 years ago to what felt like a family first community. Left recently from what now feels like a corporate driven franchise focused more on the bottom line than taking care of the teachers and students. Teachers are exhausted, under trained, under supported, and vastly unprepared to be the caliber of teachers and child development specialists they advertise themselves as.
