  Until recently I had no issues with the center, but currently the center is understaffed and poorly run. My son had been through 3 teachers in his current classroom and I was never really sure who to go to in regards to him beyond the director. The turn over rate is high and communication has been severely lacking. We decided to switch centers because we were unsure of the consistency of care our son was being given, and what made it worse was that after being at the center since he was a year old, only one teacher even acknowledged him leaving. No message from administration, no comment. His last day was early because they couldn’t staff his classroom. The quality of this place has went down hill sharply and I can’t say I’m sad about leaving to go elsewhere.

  Our toddler has been going to CBKC for about two years now, and our 6 mo daughter just started in their infants group 2 weeks ago. All of the teachers and staff at the daycare have been absolutely amazing! The culture in the center is such that all teachers get to know and interact with every kid and as a result, transitions between age groups go extremely smoothly. My husband has noted multiple times how nicely surprised he is when he goes to pick up the kids and without asking, everyone in the center knows whose dad he is. The community there is like one big family and I think this is the best possible environment for a kid to be happily growing and learning in. During the pandemic CBKC has been following strict protocols about safety. Children's temperature is taken at the front door every morning and parents are not allowed to go inside. While it has been difficult not being able to go in and see my children's teachers every day, the center has been using an app where we can not only exchange messages with them, but we receive regular updates about the kids, what they are doing, eating and learning. The multiple pictures that I get every day of both my son and daughter and the lovely messages that accompany them have been priceless! Seeing them happy, surrounded by friends, posing with a big smile and a favorite toy or learning how to sit or write letters literally makes my day every single time. It is more than clear that the teachers truly care for and love my kids, and I feel reassured that my little ones are happy and safe with them. CBKC also has connections with local farms and recently my son got to meet in person and even pat two baby goats that visited the center's outdoor playground. He was super excited about it and loved seeing the pictures which we got from the event and telling me about his experience.

  I brought both of my girls (2 & 4) to KinderCare earlier this year after being at another center for over 3 years. I saw such a change in both of them in a matter of months. Their learning skills, their behavior was all so much improved. Both of their teachers are wonderful and they both love going to school. There has never been an “I don’t want to go to school” from either of them. We love the updates that we get throughout the day and both the Director, Robin, and all the teachers are always responsive to my questions. We would definitely recommend the KinderCare at Gulf Park.

  I love every single person that works at KinderCare Cedar Bluff. My son has been going there since he was 3 months old, he is now 3. They say it takes a village to raise a child...The staff at this center are 100% my village. I don’t know what I would do with out them! His current teacher is Mr. T and my son loves him.

  Two of my children currently attend Cedar Bluff Kindercare and have since they were 10 weeks. We could not ask for better people to look out for our kiddos. We love how friendly the teachers and directors are. We also love the app. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a daycare!
