My boy had behavioral issues due to ADHD, but the teachers and director have always been very loving and patient with him. My kids feel safe and love everybody here.

I asked my child’s long time teacher if she can babysit him for one weekend night only as I was desperate and having a babysitter who you know and trust to love your child while your gone seemed like the best option however I was explained the primrose policy that no teachers are allowed to babysit outside the school. Bummer but I listened and followed the rules. Only to be told the next week by another parent who I’ve grown close to tell me that she was given permission by Cassie the director for a teacher from the same toddler class to babysit outside of school hours. sorry for having to write this review as our kids seem to like their teachers for the most part which is why this hurts but I also feel hurt in this circumstance. Tried contacting the owner but haven’t heard back. Would appreciate some clarity on this, please.

I rarely leave negative reviews for anything, but the parents of Greenville deserve to know the truth about Primrose at Pelham. Our 2 1/2 year-old son attended here for a few months and everything was fine during this time. He is a high-energy, fun loving boy. Overall what I would consider a "typical" 2 year-old.
He got a new teacher in his classroom, then all of a sudden he started "biting, pushing, and hitting unprovoked." Also "aggressive behavior." He's been in daycare all his life, and this has never occurred before. Suddenly he became the ultimate problem child for Primrose. Completely bizarre and shocking, but we wanted to work this out with the staff. At worst this was surely just a phase, and between us parents and the staff we could get through this. He's only 2 years old... However, the staff did little to nothing to work with us on helping him not be "aggressive." Rather they continually called us to come pick him up in the middle of the day, and we would have to leave work and keep him home the rest of the day. We could not allow this to continue to happen, so we withdrew from the school.
We are still so shocked and disappointed at how Primrose handled this and how it came to an end. At the beginning, we were so optimistic and excited about our son being here. It seemed like such a great school. But there is definitely a selection process here. If you're not a "good fit," you will somehow be forced out.
