We are so grateful to Tender Hearts Child Care for taking such wonderful care of our toddler over the past year and a half, starting when she was just 18 months old. From day one, we felt confident and at ease knowing she was in such loving, capable hands.
The lead teachers, Miss Dana and Miss Julie, are truly amazing—patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. We also want to thank Miss Jess, Miss Christina, Miss Aimee, and Miss Haylee for their kindness, energy, and dedication. It’s clear that every teacher here truly cares about the children.
A special thank you to the Thompson family for creating such a welcoming, caring environment. You can really feel the heart behind this family-owned childcare center, and it shows in how well it’s run and how comfortable the children are.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our child’s early years and highly recommend Tender Hearts Child Care to any family looking for a nurturing, trustworthy, and loving environment.

Although our son was only at Tender Hearts for a short time we were incredibly happy with the care our son as given and we were treated just like family. From the Teachers to the Directors and Owners, everyone was caring, supportive and professional. We only chose to leave due to relocating for a job. I would highly recommend anyone looking for child care to give Tender Hearts a try!
Our son attended Tender Hearts when he turned 3 through Pre-K and absolutely loved coming each day. He learned how to socialize with other kids, made great connections with his teachers, and they cared for him wonderfully and on an individual level. He was prepared for kindergarten so well, and we’re excited for our next child to start there soon.

We came to Tender Hearts when I was unsure returning to work would ever be a reality for me, because who could I truly trust to take care of my daughter? That quickly changed as I was welcomed by Karen and the team in the infant room. They were soft, kind, and patient. I was never left in the dark as to the care my daughter was receiving throughout the day and she was consistently happy at pickup. Enrolling our second-born wasn't even a question when the time came. Both children enjoyed a solid, age-appropriate curriculum throughout each class and the school provided many extra activities like visits from the Tumble Bus. The owners know every little face in the building and are warm and welcoming. We loved our time with everyone: Ms. Julie, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Tracey, and Ms. Smith!
As a new mom of 1 I promised myself that I was going to be a stay at home mom and home school my child. As my daughter grew a little and developed a very social personality, I realized there was probably more that she could be learning then I could ever give her at home. So at a few days shy of 1 I decided I was going to find a full time job and put her in daycare. With a lot of guilt, the search began (and I had no clue what to look for). A friend told me to interview lots of places and follow my gut, I would always know what was right for my daughter. She was right! I interviewed lots of places, talked to several directors and teachers and watched closely at how children interacted.
Some of the places out there seemed wonderful. They promised to teach my 11 1/2 month old to paint, color, and read. But lets be honest, what she needed was play time. That’s how kids learn. So here I was on my way to Tender Hearts dreading another “interview” and showing of “all the wonderful things my child was going to do”(you know things that 2 and 3 years olds should be doing, not 11 1/2 month olds).
Guess what! I found a 2nd home!!! The teachers and staff provide my daughter with more than I could ever ask for. I once walked into the class room, shortly after my daughter started, and I found her teacher holding her and comforting her. I was so touched. My active child who won’t let me hold her was warming up to her teacher. Her teachers helped me with weaning my child off of formula and a bottle. They send me pictures and art work and my now 13 month old can count to 3. I am so thankful to the teachers, the owners, and Lisa (the director) for making this such an amazing transition for our whole family.
Thank you!!
