Primrose School of Center City Philadelphia is an accredited daycare located in the Philadelphia area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten and after school programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
We lived in Center City, Philadelphia, for the past year and enrolled our child in Primrose. She had the best time in the school. They learned through play, making school fun. The teachers (even those who weren’t teaching my child) and staff know the children by name. The place is clean and well maintained. The school makes an effort to bring the children out for walks and outdoor play when the weather permits. They do a tour of the school before you decide so I think it’s really helpful for parents who are deciding on the best place for their children.

Primrose has been exceptional for our family from day one—literally. Our daughter started here at just 6 weeks old, and the care, attention, and love she has received have been nothing short of amazing. The staff is truly exceptional—every teacher and caregiver creates a warm, nurturing environment where we always felt confident she was safe, happy, and thriving.

Primrose has been nothing but exceptional. It is a relief to be able to send my children to a daycare/school all day that you trust. My oldest son is graduating pre-k and I feel as if he is prepared for kindergarten because of Primrose. Thank you Primrose for taking such good care of my babies.

Primrose provides excellent child care in Center City, Philadelphia. If you want a place with a structured curriculum and program, this is the place to go. The facilities and staff are also extremely professional, and they go above and beyond to make parents feel involved and informed. I've recommended several close friends to Primrose and they are having similar positive experiences.
Update (2025): I reviewed Primrose approximately 4 years ago and I'm pleased to say that Primrose continues to provide the upmost level of professionalism and dedication to my family. My children (2) attended Primrose from 3 months old and I can say that after 6+ years, Primrose remains the top childcare institution in Philadelphia. I continue to recommend Primrose to my close friends and peers, and trust that their families will similarly have rewarding experiences. Keep up the excellent work!
