  Our kids have been going to CBA for the past three years and they thrive there. The staff has been great and they have loved their teachers each year. The hours are great given my husband both have busy work schedules and our kids have learned alot for their ages. Our impression is they are ahead in learning versus kids who go to some other surrounding schools. If you are in area and looking for childcare we would highly recommend!

  We are very happy with the love & care that our 11 month old receives. She started at Chesterbrook when she was 6 months old, and the teachers have been great with updating us throughout the day. We look forward to her adorable pictures in the tadpole app. We are confident that our daughter is being nurtured while having a blast with her baby friends and teachers!

  Had the worst experience with Chesterbrook in Newtown among all the schools we visited and contacted for my son. I had questions about the admission before putting my son on the waiting list, and the Principal Amber Konopka was not answering my calls, did not give me call backs, nor replying my emails. When I went to the school to submit the application for registration she did not come out to see me neither, when asked about the openings six months after putting on the waiting list she did not give me a follow up call like she told me, so we’ve decided to move on with another school. We requested the refund for our deposit and took almost 5 months to find out she didn’t even had our address on file in the system for the refund, and between those 5 months I called and visited the Chesterbrook of Newtown several times and spoke with her several times, so all those times I spoke with her she did not do anything regarding my request but just kept telling me she requested it and there is nothing she can do about it and she can’t even give me a timeline nor follow up call because she has no information about the refund (that does not give her the excuse to not making follow up calls!). Her attitude and her way of handling requests were so unprofessional, it would be disastrous if I had my son admitted to this school with the principal who is not responding to any means of communication!!! I also contacted their general admission’s office trying to talk to someone regarding this matter, for five weeks and after spoke with 4 admissions coordinators within those weeks, I am still waiting for someone to contact me regarding the process of my refund. Be real careful before you decide to put your child/children in this school!!! Update: Just got a phone call from the Chesterbrook Academy, her name was Lee. Nothing was mentioned regarding the 6 months of waiting for the refund nor the experience I had with the Chesterbrook Newtown, no explanation was given regarding the long wait and the unresponsiveness and no apology was given neither. I was told in a hard cold inpatient voice the refund had just processed and will cut the check soon and it would be mail out next week.

  This is the absolute best preschool! We came from a very negative environment at another school in town and the administration bent over backwards to get our daughter in with them. We were so thankful because of the situation we were in. The teachers are so kind, the school is so clean, they have engaging, fun events that are open to families for holidays etc, security is amazing, there is NO place else we ever want to send our little ones! So thankful to be part of the Chesterbrook community and for their love and care of our children. If you sign your children up here you will be beyond pleased with the education they provide as well as the total experience!

  I absolutely adore Chesterbrook Academy in Newtown. First, the teachers are amazing, particularly in the beginner's room. The teachers keep you up to date on your child's day and their developmental progress. Teachers are incredibly supportive and kind. The administrative staff is above and beyond helpful. They answer all of my questions in a supportive and friendly matter. Both of my children are happy to go to school their every day. It is easy one of the best decisions we have made.
