  Chesterbrook Academy is just the best. Our family has been a part of this CBA for 5 years and we couldn't be happier. Like every parent, we wanted our kids to be well taken care of, to have fun and learn. CBA goes above and beyond in every way. From the infant room through kindergarten, each year we continue to be impressed by and pleased with our experience there. Ms. Britt and Ms. Effie do an incredible job and it's clear the kids are prepared for 1st grade. Ms. Brittany and Ms. Shae have helped our little one grow so much and always make the days fun and exciting. We will be SO sad to leave when our kids age out! It’s a community more than just a school or daycare and it’s clear that everyone- principal, administrators, teachers and support staff- care about each child and actually get to know them and their families. A few very concrete pros for those considering: there is little turnover in the staff, great communication with parents, they’re open from 7-6, they don’t close for weeks at a time around the holidays/summer, and diapers and two snacks and lunch are included in the cost. And while these are, of course, great things, nothing beats knowing your child is happy, learning, and part of an amazing community.

  We have had three sons attend Chesterbrook Newtown Square starting as early as the Toddler Room, and our third will be moving from Pre-K into Kindergarten in the fall. The fact that Chesterbrook offers a full-day Kindergarten program is such an advantage for families with two working parents in a school district that only offers a half-day Kindergarten option, but the advantages don't stop there. The Kindergarten teachers are well-loved by kids and parents alike! The Kindergarten curriculum is great, but more importantly (to me, at least) the teachers and staff are invested in the students' social/emotional growth, well-being, and happiness. My older two sons left Chesterbrook Kindergarten well-prepared for first grade - they have excelled in reading and math, but again more importantly they were equipped to happily and comfortably transition into a new school setting where they continued to be active and engaged members of their new classrooms. The teachers and staff at Chesterbrook are attentive, responsive, and trustworthy which, in addition to taking great care of my kids, have been the most important qualities that I've appreciated as a Chesterbrook parent since 2022.

  There are not enough words in the English language that can convey properly how amazing this school is. Having to leave my 3 month old in the care of strangers is a nerve wracking experience that was made so much easier by the staff that was comforting, communicative and patient. Now 5 years later I can say with certainty just how truly fantastic every worker in that building is. The turnover is low and I have seen the same teachers there and they treat me like family. It has been a rare experience that you will not get at all schools and I am truly blessed for my son to have experienced it. My son’s current teacher Mr. Bryan should be canonized as a Saint for his patience and fun environment he provides. The principals, Sara and Alex are also top notch when it comes to communication, family events, and making you feel heard. To anyone reading this, the waitlist is long, but it is worth the wait!

  My daughter is in the intermediate classroom with Ms. Ava and I cannot say more good things. Amazing communication, care, fun, and truly valuable education. The class is like a family, plus the classroom is always so cared-for and interesting and cozy!

  I can NOT express enough how amazing this daycare is! The staff are amazing in every possible way. I never ever have to worry about dropping my kids off because I know they are well cared for, loved, and nurtured. Not only do they have fun, but they are constantly learning. The academic side is so impressive. Every teacher, admin, principal, staff are friendly, kind, caring, and wonderful. They all truly love what they do and it shows! I toured a lot of places and this one stood out leaps and bounds over every other one so clearly that the choice was a no brainer! And each and every day it is proven to be the case. I have 3 kids, 2 still enrolled and each day I am more and more impressed with how amazing they all are and how they make caring for 100+ kids look easy and at the same time personal to your kids.
