We loved a different Primrose school for our daughter, and after moving, we assumed we’d love this location too. We were sadly mistaken. This location is shockingly mismanaged, and it’s no longer a surprise they’re not at capacity. We should have heeded the red flags, starting with the inauthentic, overly polished sales pitch.
We have a number of grievances but I’ll keep the list brief: staff asking parents without clearances to watch children to meet ratios, inconsistent and unhelpful teachers at drop off time, sugary snacks daily, potty training regressions due to using diapers against our directions, understaffed classrooms that resulted in kids being shuffled around instead of moving up to age appropriate classrooms, and constant negative updates through the app.
The owners and director did not respond to our concerns and were continuously condescending and dismissive. The teachers are actually wonderful and caring, but it came to a point where we could not rely on the care we were paying a premium for. The cherry on top was the absolutely unprofessional behavior when we gave our notice.
We were saddened to find another daycare, but quickly realized the problem is this particular location and there are much better options in the area.

I was very nervous about sending our first born to daycare. We researched and toured about five schools in the area, but were instantly comforted when we walked into Primrose. From our first tour, Miss Briahna made us feel right at home. When you walk in the door, every staff person greets you by name (even people who aren’t our son’s teachers). It gave me a great deal of comfort that they know every person walking in and out of the building. I receive constant updates and photos throughout the day. They keep me updated on exactly how much of his lunch he ate, if he’s acting like himself and diaper changes throughout the day. He has grown so much academically this year. I’m am constantly amazed by the curriculum and how much he is learning each day.

Disappointed with the owners. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my ID with me, but my husband did. I had a copy of my ID, but they said that wasn’t good enough. We drove over an hour to get there and essentially the owner just said come back. Both of us work and it’s not that easy. The owners said they would accommodate doing a late tour, but we’d still have to drive over an hour again. I guess the positive is, it narrowed down our options. None of the other daycare facilities had this policy or have never been accommodating.

We've had our children at Primrose School of Peters Township since it opened. The staff, teachers and owner are all extremely attentive and clearly passionate about kids. My daughters really engage with the curriculum, and have even started asking to do extra "Primrose homework" and flash cards at home. The facility is state-of-the-art and clean, but the biggest positive is how caring the staff are - they take the time to get to know the kids and give them extra attention and help when needed. The children are taught more than just letters, numbers, music and Spanish - the school's focus on kindness, manners and healthy habits has already made such a big difference in the girls' lives. The hours are great for those that have long workdays. I'm really impressed they offer extra-curricular activities during the day and importantly, the kids have programming right up to closing time. The included meals for the kids are wonderful (my kids are actually eating vegetables now!!). One word of caution: they may make school a little too appealing for the kids - both my toddler and Pre-K students literally cry when I pick them up too early and even ask to go on the weekends.
