I currently have a toddler that attends The Growing Tree and have a school aged child who also attended when he was a toddler. We have been with The Growing Tree now for five consecutive years now between both of my children. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and director at The Growing Tree. Being an educator myself, I noticed my oldest was well prepared to begin school exhibiting strong independence skills, being able to request for help when needed, and positively interacting with other peers and adults. My youngest son is also on the same track! The staff members keep my husband and I informed with upcoming events, occurrences during their day, and pictures as well through their very convenient app! Both of my boys began potty training during the time they were attending The Growing Tree. It was an easy process for us to connect what we were doing at home and their follow through during the day with a bathroom schedule. While using the app, I am able to see the times my children have gone to the bathroom to mimic a schedule at home, while also seeing how much of their meals they ate. Being able to trust the people who are with my children for a good part of the day, feeling comfortable to frequently communicate with the staff members and director, and also receiving frequent communication back and forth is definitely valued and appreciated. I would recommend The Growing Tree to any parent!

Wish I could give5stars or even10for the amazing staff membrs who truly did care enuff4our kiddo2eventually put our kid on the potty after at least a yr,Ill admit off&on we verbally prompted or L.O.s teachers&care giving staff at the door in the morning&evening only2b told at one point that the wouldnt be starting our L.O. on the potty til the Jan or Feb justB4ourL.O. turned 3,even though we had been slowly introducing our child2the potty since abt our childs2nd bday& told the school this. Our bad I guess4not documenting this we had w/them through the app,but we werent prompted2do so til our childs last phone conference, where about a wkB4we had finally seen a note on the app that they had put our L.O. on the potty. We were so excited let me tell you&had even told them that we wanted2start putting our child in5days a wk!Then during the phone conference the teacher informed us that if our3.5y/o wasnt fully potty trained in a month, they would have to unenroll our child til fully potty trained.I was in tears in frustration bc we had been working w/our child at what our Childs doctor said was a healthy pace espc w/our Childs speech delay4which our child was getting state speech therapy&iep help w/at the school.
Just wait til ur kid is potty trained, then, send them here.Great ed program, just not so much with their self proclaimed “potty training” unit unfortunately from our experience apparently&especially w/our child only going 3days a wk.idc how the “mngmt”gaslights w/whatever rspnce2this review they dropped the ball on this &basically blamed us about basically how if our neurodivergent child who has had a speech delay isnt PT’d yet&some how its our fault even though our L.O is only 3.5&we have been working on this since2.Disappointing bc we will miss our Childs teachers&staff&espc the outstanding lady at the front desk who helped me w/so many things as a 1st time mom even though I’m in my 40s.Im literally crying as I type this bc of wonderful her&the wonderful teacher who had been putting our L.O. On the potty4quite a few weeks apparently according2the notes but we only just saw the one I mentioned just b4 the phone conference w/her,we truly appreciate her voice&efforts2help potty train our L.O.&from the notes she was the only1.
This school apparently has a waiting list.&it had become apparent2us after an absolutely erroneous&unfounded anonymous cps report that could have only come from this estb bc our child had only ever been at growing tree&the speech office when we were still going there, but we know it wasnt them bc they told us they only file formalCPSreports as a care team&also they wouldnt have access2our Childs diapersBCthey werent in that type of position of care as we were at all our Childs speech appt&we would change them.The2cps rpts said there was cat litter in the diaper(we dont have a cat)&our child had diaper rash(which was absolutely a lie bc our child hadnt had diaper rash but maybe a handful of times in our Childs life&they were very very mild symptoms,&honestly what kid doesnt get diaper rash)also 1rprt was made on a day our L.O.Wasnt even there,&the next day when our l.o. Was, but the report said that our child was going4-5days a wk&our child was only there 3days a wk.The report also said that our child had been in the same clothes at least twice, also a complete lieBCwe would never allow our kid2wear dirty clothes2school orNEwhere. When theCPSlady(who Ill admit we knew from a previous visit bc of a misunderstanding w/ER docmtn)upon my DH answering the door she asked”have u made any recent enemies lately?”Bc even she knew the cps reports were bs&a waste of time&taxes.TheCPSlady said she often gets anonymous erroneous cps rprts like this when staff from daycares w/waiting lists are trying2get other kids out so their kids can get in or get in quicker. That was about a yr ago…i hope this isnt the case again.
Also shout out to the brown haired teacher ty4all ur help&advice& sweet young blond teacher who had both been w/L.O. Since waddlers.Y’all will be missed.😭🫶

My son started there a month ago when he first turned two months. I am also first time mom and very wary and nervous about leaving my child in the care of anyone besides myself and his father. But every time I drop him off or pick him up he is all smiles and happy noises. He always comes home in a clean diaper and a full belly. Any concerns I had were heard, understood and were followed up on without me having to ask. I look forward to keeping him here and watching him grow in this wonderful environment.

Well I don't recommend sending your child here my brother and his son's mom are trying so hard to get him out of there now and into another day care center because he continues to get hurt on a weekly basis and we're not talking about little bruises or scratches we're talking about gashes and huge knots on his head and I understand kids will be kids but are you watching him are you letting them just run a mock so I would really look into this place before you send or trust these people with your child's safety
