  Had an awful experience twice here. First was a facial with a student who discussed my skin behind my back with her peer in unapropriate way. I overheard her and it felt weird. A few months later came for a haircut and explained i wanted smooth layers. Instead my hair was cut uneven with sharp layers and was never supervised! I asked the girl to fix it, she tried but when I got home it was still crooked. How are they receiving their certificates???!! You can do better....

  This was my first visit to the salon and I was very impressed. I had very long hair and my stylist, Aubree, was extremely knowledgeable as we discussed and decided on the details of the final cut. She had patience, making sure the cut was right. Thank you, Aubree, I love my new hair style!

  Had a full highlight and trim today with Lexi, she was awesome! Super sweet, friendly and went above and beyond what I expected. It actually brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. Thank you, Lexi for making me feel a little bit more like myself.

  Received a facial today from lydia. If you have not you're for sure missing out. Her service was absolutely incredible she explained everything she was doing and why. Made me feel very comfortable and my face looks stunning. Its never looked this hydrated .! Lydia youre awesome thank you so much for everything!

  LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! Long story I was looking for a new salon and had gone to three different places and didnt feel good about my experience or the outcome of my haircut and/or color. Twice at two different salons, I asked if they could cut my hair a little shorter and add more layers. I have hair down to the middle part of my back and its naturally, so layers are important. The stylists basically told me "no" because that isnt what they recommend, and if I really want it cut shorter I could come back. I dont have the time to "come back" to the salon - they didnt do what I wanted in the first place. Now I have gone to The Salon Professional Academy because I had previously gone to Beauty Schools because I liked how my hair was done, and asked each student stylist for their recommendations, and I always loved what was done. I was so thankful for my first appointment last week to look at changing my color to be lighter, and to cover the grey for the first appt. Everything was GREAT about this experience!!! I loved the interaction between me and the student as well as their teacher. I utilize a walker, and everyone was kind and accommodating, which was greatly appreciated!! I made another appointment for this upcoming weekend to start the highlights!! I am very excited!!! My husband, who has short hair, has also had some issues with getting his hair cut, so he also made an appointment for this upcoming weekend. I also already told two of my closest friends! Thank you for the wonderful service, kind and friendly people, and a welcoming environment!! ***Update*** My husband and I went back this past weekend, and we both LOVED our hair!!!!! I had Kate the first time and Alexi this time. This time I had partial highlights added. I was looking for a honey color. Alexi asked me to look at some photos of what color I was looking for and she did the same. When we both showed each other the color, it was almost the same!! When my color was done, I wanted for both of us to experience the excitement, so when she turned the chair around we were elated!!!! It looked EXACTLY like what I was looking for!!! I also have naturally curly hair, and previous salons (for like the past 20 years) didn't do really chunky highlights, even though I asked for that. Alexi did PERFECT highlights that can be seen nicely when my hair is curly. My husband was also VERY pleased!! His hair was exactly as he asked, and he will also be coming back!! Thank you to the owner who responded to my initial post, and thank you to the instructors who truly care about the students. Thank you too, so much, to the students!!! I am beyond excited, and sometimes you just don't know how you can change someones day for the positive with new highlights!!!!
