  Our toddler has been going here now full time for a few months. He is thriving and is excited every day to go. He has made friends that he talks about outside of school, and he seems to be really happy with the day to day learning/curriculum. I really like the staff, and the communication. I also enjoy the daily updates thru their app that I can see what he is doing. Thank you for making a safe and educational environment for our child!

  Can’t say enough great things about Kindercare and this facility in particular. The directors & teachers are amazing! We have 2 kids here (the first has attended for 3 years and the second has been here for over a year). Our daughter runs to class in the morning because she’s so excited to be there and my son often tells me he isn’t ready to leave when I pick them up. The facility has done an excellent job of keeping everyone safe during the pandemic with temperature checks for everyone entering the facility, creating pods to minimize contact with multiple people, extra cleaning, masks, vaccinating staff, only kids/teachers allowed in the building, etc. I don’t think there has been a single COVID case and can’t even remember the last time my kids were sick with a cold. Communication is excellent! A weekly newsletter is sent out about what each class is learning, we receive daily photos and messages through their app to let us see what our kiddos are up to, what they ate, and whenever we’ve had a question or concern we’ve had an almost immediate response. If there is ever an incident at school (ie. kid scrapes their knee) we get a report of what happened and what they did to remedy. Teachers/Directors will call us too if it’s anything they think we should know sooner. The teachers are passionate about their work and care deeply about the kids in their class. The lesson plans are excellent and keep our kids entertained and challenged (appropriate for their age level and abilities). Our son went through a difficult period where he was having behavioral issues (to the point we saw a child psychologist) and the teachers/directors went above & beyond to help us to improve his behavior. They tried multiple approaches and never gave up. Our son would struggle with transitions and they worked on phrasing things differently to help him move on to the next activity. He had difficulty understanding the consequences of his actions. In response, the teachers created a green and red decision board to help him make positive choices when he gets upset. One teacher would even use her lunch period to spend extra 1:1 time with him. The directors also provided us with additional educational material & resources/references. He has improved so much thanks to their many efforts. If you’re looking for an educational daycare with an exemplary staff you can trust, you’ve found it!

  We love this KinderCare for both of our girls- age 3 year old and 7 mo old! I am constantly amazed at how genuinely warm and welcoming all of the staff always is- the director and assistant director know each and every kid, their parents, and how the child is doing in the classroom, each and every moment of the day. I don’t know how they do it! The teachers send us multiple updates about our children throughout the day via their app and are incredibly responsive to any messages we send. They get outside every day, do science experiments, plant gardens, have parties, fun summer activity schedule, etc. And I swear, some of our baby’s happiest smile (pictures) are from school! They have taken such careful COVID measures, we couldn’t feel any safer with our girls going there. This place has become like a second family for our girls- they’ve made best friends in each class and talk fondly of their teachers every day. It’s far more than just a school for learning, it’s friendships, social and emotional development, confidence, and is definitely a part of our community here in Tigard/Beaverton.

  We seriously love this KinderCare! Our 20 mo has had so much fun joining the toddler room this year. They take such great care of her! They knew exactly how to help ease transitions when she had separation anxiety. She is always happy on her school days and races inside now! We learn from her school on a daily basis bc as a new mom, I didn’t know it was time to play with playdough or sidewalk chalk for example, but we do now! :) They really help grow her developmentally- she is getting great verbal skills, hitting all of her fine and gross motor milestones with ease bc of how much play-based learning they do. We love all her teachers- Miss Melody and Emily, and her directors Amneh and Angela, and all the other staff!

  This place is poorly organize. My daughter goes to greeenvway elementary and was to be pick up kindercare. When they go to the gym to pick up the kids they assumed my daughter was absent because she was not there and left! When I got off work around 5pm and came to pick up my daughter the daycare had no idea and said she didnt go to school. They just looked at me like I was crazy I had to call the police myself to report my daughter missing. To make a long story the cops found her outside in the dark around 7pm. She was scared and said that when she came back from the bathroom everyone was gone and went walking to see if she could find our house or the kindercare bus. My daughter is 7 anything could have happened to her and thank god she was found. The police asked kindercare what normal pordocal would be when a child was not at school for pick up and they responded " to call the parents but in this case we did not." This kindercare has new staff consistently. After the director Ann left is when thing started to fall apart.
