  I'll give you five stars because i'm not about to hurt your business but I am really sick and tired of your employee's parking in spots that are right next to and in front of LEtoile so that it's easier for them but people that live here can't park anywhe. We have an apartment complex building right here.With dozens upon dozens of people that would love to be able to park in front of their home. Or remove your ridiculously unenforced no parking signs. I watched people violate that thing every single day and I never see anybody get tickets from my window. I watch. Every job i've ever worked at always tells the employee that they cannot take up customer parking. Yet. Here we are. Faire mieux....Faire Mieux!!

  The best years of my life were at this school! I would highly recommend! Super small community where everyone is like family. Also amazing to have a fluency in another language that I still use as a high school student!

  L'Etoile has been an amazing experience for our family. It's easy to communicate with staff and teachers—everyone is approachable and responsive, and they truly care about addressing any concerns. The school also offers a hot lunch program, which is a lifesaver, and there's even a bus now! Highly recommend!

  L'Etoile French Immersion School provides an extraordinarily strong elementary school (and preschool) experience for families who are fortunate enough to learn about the school and enroll their children. The school is perhaps northwest Oregon's best-kept secret in world-class education, and given its relative affordability is probably the best value in the area as well. Our son is now in the middle of his sixth and final year at the school, having started in Kindergarten (Grande Section) in 2011. He has been happy at L'Etoile throughout his time at the school, and we couldn't be more proud of his academic achievements and the young person he is becoming. We credit much of our son's personal growth to L'Etoile's excellent instruction and the positive influence of the school community. L'Etoile is a special place -- warm and caring, yet rigorous and intellectually demanding –- and our son has thrived in this environment. He is a proficient reader, writer, and speaker of both English and French (working well above grade level in both languages), and has solid foundational skills in science, math, literature, history, social studies, music, art, and physical education. The school is accredited by France's Ministry of Education, and follows the well-rounded French curriculum in a full-immersion setting, using French as the primary language of instruction, but including some regular, focused instruction in English. I encourage you to investigate L'Etoile for yourself if you are seeking a school with small class sizes; a welcoming, caring community that draws families from around the world; experienced, dedicated, attentive teachers and staff; thoughtful, clear-sighted leadership focused steadfastly on the school's core academic mission; after-school care and enrichment offerings ranging from sports to computer programming; and a full, rich curriculum that fosters critical thinking and imparts a global perspective on humanity's diverse cultural traditions. You will be pleased with what you find at L'Etoile. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had an opportunity to participate in this remarkable school community.
