  We’ve had such a great experience with Touchstone School and truly feel lucky to have found them. Our son has been there since he was just about two years old, and now at four, we plan to keep him there until kindergarten. Before Touchstone, we tried two other daycare/preschool options, and nothing compares. The teachers here are the best we’ve found in the area—caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child. What really stands out is the balance they create. The environment is fun and engaging, but there’s also a strong focus on learning and development. It’s not a free-for-all. There’s structure, intention, and real education happening, which was something our son really needed. At the same time, kids still get to be kids, with plenty of room for play and creativity. The outdoor play area is one of our son’s favorite parts of the day, and the whole environment just feels thoughtful and well-rounded. Honestly, the biggest sign we made the right choice is this: we’ve rarely had a tearful drop off, and most days he doesn’t want to leave when we pick him up. Touchstone feels like an extension of our family, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

  My daughter has been attending touchstone since she was 3 months old. Ms. Rosy and Ms. Kari alongside Ms. Misha were great teachers. Special shoutout to Mr. Aden, Ms. Ava, Ms. Ellie who my daughter had for beginners, intermediate and pre-k. And especially the principal Ms. Courtney. In the fall she is going to be going to kindergarten and I feel confident that she is going to thrive due to the strong curriculum at Touchstone and the ability to grow empathetic, smart and kind students. This year we had the honor of having Ms. Simin and Ms. Amy for the pre-k 2 program and it is the most academic growth we have witnessed our daughter go through. Thank you Ms. Simin and Ms. Amy.

  We have been very happy with our experience at Touchstone Preschool in Hillsboro. We started our two sons here in September 2023, and they've had a great year. Their teachers have been wonderful, classroom activities are fun and engaging, communication from the school is consistent and clear, including daily reports and photos in the app, conferences, and other regular email updates. Our kids are excited and happy to go to school each day, and they love their teachers!

  Teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. A beautiful space well kept! and ready for kids to thrive and become their best selves. 10/10 would recommend
