- KBKelli BarkerFeb 25, 20261.0BEWARE Please, Please, save yourself some money and trouble and commit the contract to memory. My daughter decided to change her major and this school did not offer the classes she needed. So she was forced to transfer schools at the end of her fall semester. Northwestern Oklahoma State still charged her for "breaking" a contract (one that they expect and 18 year old to have memorized) and expected her to stay in a school that could not help her complete her degree. She spoke to someone about getting help with the withdraw process and they never informed her that there was a $400 fee for doing so. They also kept the $200 room deposit, despite the clean and clear walk through. They told her that they would take care of everything. Instead, they expected her to stay enrolled in useless classes, waste our hard earned money and delay her completion. When I spoke to the business office to try and get this resolved and informed them that we were not aware of the fee, they said tough. So please, be careful in choosing your career. You will be punished if you choose a switch to something that they don't offer.
